Ace India pacer Mohammad Shami shared positive updates on his recovery after his surgery for his Achilles tendon. Shami revealed that all his stitches had been removed post-surgery. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has already conveyed that Shami will be absent from the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 owing to his ongoing rehabilitation under medical supervision since his Achilles tendon surgery in February.
After his successful operation last month, Shami took to social media to update his followers on his recovery progress. “Hello everyone! I wanted to provide an update on my recovery progress. It has been 15 days since my surgery, and I recently had my stitches removed. I am thankful for the advancements I have achieved and looking forward to the next stage of my healing journey,” he wrote on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
“Shami bhai gave his 100 percent even when he was in pain during worldcup, then there is one c***** kalu who shown fake injury to keep himself available for IPL,” read the post.
Mohammed Shami last played for India in the ODI World Cup final against Australia, that the Men in Blue lost.
