Lucknow Super Giants vs Gujarat Titans, IPL 2024 Match 21 Preview: Pace sensation Mayank Yadav will be in focus again when the Lucknow Super Giants host former champions Gujarat Titans at Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium in the second match of the Sunday double-header.

LSG pacer Yadav has been among the most talked-about players so far in the 17th edition of the IPL, clocking two of the fastest deliveries of the season and rattling opposition batters with his control that, combined with his searing pace, has made him a primary weapon for the KL Rahul-led side.

Lucknow have fought back nicely after losing their opening game against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur, defeating Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in their subsequent fixtures.

GT who had won the tournament on debut in 2022, have had a mixed run so far in Shubman Gill’s first season as captain. They defeated Mumbai Indians in thrilling fashion in their opening game of the season and pulled off a comfortable chase against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Gujarat and Lucknow have squared off four times since making their debut together in 2022, with the former having won all of the contests so far. Lucknow will be aiming to end their losing streak on Sunday.
