Pakistan win by 45 runs  and qualify for semis

Brilliant from them. Four wins in four. Pakistan started off slowly and were 59/0 from 10 overs. But then they picked up the scoring and smashed 130 off the next 10. Babar made 70 off 49 while Rizwan made 79 off 50. Hafeez too provided a late surge with 16-ball 32 to propel Pakistan to 189/2.

In reply, Namibia never got the momentum going. They had the wickets in hand but couldn’t break through Pakistan’s disciplined bowling. And then they lost wickets under pressure and could manage just 144 in reply to Pakistan’s 189.

After 18 overs,Namibia 116/5 ( David Wiese 21 , Nicol Loftie-Eaton 3)

Rauf bowls a really good over. Changes his pace really well. There is a slower one that foxes Smit and gets his wicket and then there is a fast bouncer that hits Wiese smack on the helmet. Thankfully he is fine after being attended to by the physio.

Hasan Ali is then brought into the attack and he bowls a frugal over, giving away just 5 runs. Wiese miscued his slice just over point for a couple. 74 needed off 12 balls.

150 up for Pakistan. Hafeez has started off really well. Pakistan opted to send Hafeez over Asif Ali. Hafeez hasn’t had a good time in this tournament so far. He’s averaged 10.50 from two innings before the tournament. He’s started really well here. Getting some good time in the middle. He gets four fours in the last two overs. Scoops one to fine leg, guides one wide of third man, then paddles one wide of short fine leg and then gets an outside edge over backward point for a streaky four. Rizwan then joins the pary as he sweeps one behind square leg off Trumpelmann for a four. 28 off the last two overs.

He then gets Babar next ball, off a knuckle ball as the Pakistan captain holes out to deep mid-wicket. He gives away 5 runs off the next four balls. They take 9 off the Wiese over.

Namibia then burn a review as Rizwan is struck outside the line, off Frylinck. After a two, Zaman is caught behind. Hafeez the gets off the mark with a thumping shot through point for FOUR to get off the mark. 9 runs off the Frylinck over as well. 18 off the last 2.

Pakistan vs Namibia, Latest Updates, T20 World Cup 2021: Pakistan win by 45 runs. They qualify for semis. Preview: Pakistan have never played a T20 international against Namibia but veteran all-rounder Shoaib Malik has said his team’s morale was “high”, particularly after last month’s win over India ahead of the clash against Namibia in Abu Dhabi. Pakistan have raced to three wins in as many games starting with a resounding ten-wicket opening fixture victory over arch-rivals India followed by New Zealand and Afghanistan. They need another win to qualify for the semi-finals from Group 2 of the Super 12 stage. “The morale in the camp is high,” said 39-year-old Malik before Tuesday’s meeting. [caption id="" align=“alignnone” width=“640”]Pakistan vs Namibia Live Streaming of ICC T20 World Cup 2021 Match: Pakistan players celebrate an Afghanistan wicket during the Twenty20 World Cup match in Dubai on Friday. AP Photo Live Cricket Score and Live Streaming of Pakistan vs Namibia, ICC T20 World Cup 2021 Match[/caption] “When you win games, the confidence level is quite high in the dressing room. Everyone is looking forward to playing the rest of the games we have left in the tournament. “When you start your tournament against a big team (India) and then you win that game, then everything comes in your dressing room.” Pakistan have never played a T20 international against Namibia while they won the only ODI between the two sides in the 2003 World Cup (50 overs) with a 171-run margin in South Africa. Malik said Namibia, who qualified from the first round and have beaten Scotland, will not be taken lightly. “To be honest, we are not thinking any different because T20 format is where you can’t take the opposition lightly,” he said.  “And we are fully confident, so we are looking forward for the game.” Pakistan have played the same eleven in all three games but considering a relatively easier opponent, ranked 15th in the world in the format, they could rotate their side. Malik admitted bio-secure confinement for the players in the COVID-19 restriction is a challenge. “Bubble life, it’s a tough thing, especially when you’re like playing a lot of back-to-back series,” he said. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming fixture: When will the Group 2 match of the T20 World Cup 2021 between Pakistan and Namibia take place? The match between Pakistan and Namibia will take place on 2 November, 2021. What is the venue for Pakistan versus Namibia match? The match will take place at the Zayed Cricket Stadium What time will the Pakistan versus Namibia match start? The match will begin at 7.30 pm IST. The toss will take place at 7 pm IST.
