A target of 81 in a T20I, however, was always going to be tough to defend and one solid partnership between Alice Capsey and Nat Sciver-Brunt, worth 42, was all it took for them to pull off a successful chase. The two sides will play a one-off Test at Navi Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium after the three T20Is. India will then host ODI and T20I world champions Australia in a multi-format series after the England fixtures.
