Kane Williamson and his wife Sarah Raheem took to Instagram to announce the birth of their third child, a baby girl.

Kane Williamson and his wife Sarah Raheem have welcome their third child, a baby girl. The news was shared by the New Zealand star batter on Instagram. “And then there was 3. Welcome to the world beautiful Girl. So grateful for your safe arrival and the exciting journey ahead,” Williamson wrote on the social media platform.

Williamson and Sarah have two more children - a three-year-old daughter and one-year-old son.

Williamson recently missed the T20I series against Australia at home due to paternity leave, but will be back for the two-match Test series against the neighbours, which begins on Thursday.

Before giving the T20I series a miss, Williamson was part of the Test squad as New Zealand secured their first-ever Test series win over South Africa. He scored three hundreds in two Tests.

Williamson has now amassed 32 Test centuries and is 11th in the all-time list which is led by Sachin Tendulkar (51). Jacques Kallis (45) and Ricky Ponting (41) are second and third on the list respectively.

After the Test series against Australia, Williamson will be coming to India to take part in the IPL 2024 where he will be representing Gujarat Titans. Williamson had miss majority of the IPL 2023 after suffering a knee injury in the first match of the tournament. However, he is expected to play a bigger role this season in the absence of former captain Hardik Pandya who left the franchise for Mumbai Indians.

Shubman Gill has been appointed GT’s new captain, but the youngster will be needing guidance from veteran Williamson who has experience of leading national and IPL sides.
