Jasprit Bumrah obliterates Ollie Pope's stumps with lethal yorker; WATCH

Jasprit Bumrah cleaned up Ollie Pope with a lethal yorker on Day 2 of the Visakhapatnam Test as two out of three stumps went flying and the England batter was left dumfounded and disappointed. Pope scored a match-winning 196 in the first India vs England Test at Hyderabad, but in the second Test, Bumrah castled the England batter with one of the best yorkers that ever existed.

This in fact was the fifth time Pope was dismissed by Bumrah in Test cricket, which is joint second-highest for a batter against the Indian pacer. Bumrah has also dismissed Australia captain Pat Cummins five times in Test cricket. Joe Root has been dismissed by Bumrah for the most times (8) in his Test career. In fact, Root was dismissed by Bumrah in the Visakhapatnam Test as well which was the eight such occasion. The Indian star fast bowler also removed Jonny Bairstow and is now only one wicket away from reaching the 150-wicket mark in Tests. Before the start of Visakhapatnam Test, Bumrah had 146 wickets in 33 matches. If he completes 150 wickets in the second India vs England Test then he will become the joint third-fastest Indian to 150 wickets in Test cricket alongside spinners Erapalli Prasanna and Anil Kumble and the fastest pace bowler. Spinners Ravichandran Ashwin (29) and Ravindra Jadeja (32) are the fastest Indians to 150 wickets. Bumrah is also set to go level with Australia’s Glenn McGrath, Jeff Thompson and Mitchell Johnson, who completed 150 wickets in 34 Tests.
