Chase master Virat Kohli lit up the Adelaide Oval with yet another century, his 39th in ODI cricket. Kohli strode out to the crease at the fall of Shikhar Dhawan’s wicket in the 8th over and in a typical Kohli fashion, timed his innings to perfection. [caption id=“attachment_5900111” align=“alignnone” width=“380”] Virat Kohli on his way to century against Australia in the 2nd ODI at Adelaide Oval. AP[/caption] He stabilised proceedings and then went for his shots to hit the accelerator button. Kohli’s 104 off 112 balls was interlaced with five fours and two sixes before he flicked one straight to the fielder at deep mid-wicket. As always, Twitter was abuzz and in awe of the Indian captain who keeps churning out runs at will and currently seems unstoppable.
It's been a privilege to have seen some great Kohli centuries. It was a privilege to have seen this one.

Impact Shorts
More ShortsIt is extremely hard to construct a case that Virat Kohli isn't the greatest ODI batsman of all time. Today's century moves him within 10 of Sachin Tendulkar's tally of 49 - Kohli has 246 matches left to score the 11 he needs to pass Tendulkar's tally in fewer matches. #AUSvIND
