Team India captain Rohit Sharma was seen celebrating Holi along with his family members and the Mumbai Indians squad on Monday. Just a day before the festival, he was in action for MI’s Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season opener against Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The Mumbai-based franchise shared a video where the whole team is seen celebrating the festival. In the post, Rohit is seen celebrating the festival as he applies colours to his fellow teammates.

Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals were also seen celebrating Holi, which was organised in Jaipur. What was special about their celebration was skipper Rishabh Pant was showered with flowers by his teammates. The coaching staff, along with their family members, also joined in the celebrations ahead of their second IPL match against Rajasthan Royals.

The Delhi-based franchise also shared videos of their Holi celebration, in which Pant was seen in his usual fun-loving mood.

Post their victory, Rajasthan Royals players like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Yuzvendra Chahal and Trent Boult celebrated the festival of colours. The franchise posted the video of their celebration on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

Gujarat Titans, who will lock horns with Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Tuesday, were also seen getting drenched in Holi colours after landing in Chennai. The IPL 2022 champions posted pictures of Sai Sudharsan, Kane Williamson and Josh Little arriving at the airport.

Kolkata Knight Riders decided to celebrate Holi in their team hotel on Monday. Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Shreyas Iyer was at the receiving end for the most part. The franchise posted a video on social media, where the players were seen splashing the colours on Iyer heavily. Gautam Gambhir, who is the team mentor, also joined the celebrations.

In what was a heart-warming gesture by Lucknow Super Giants, their players celebrated the festival of colors with open arms. Skipper KL Rahul, along with head coach Justin Langer and the whole squad, celebrated the festival with a lot of zest and zeal.
