That's from us. It was a great win for Rising Pune Supergiant who go from strength to strength in this year's IPL. For RCB it was indeed a very disappointing performance and one that all but ends their chances of qualifying for the play-offs. Steve Smith: Tonight it was a complete performance. Lockie Ferguson bowled beautifully today, he hasn't had many chances but today he bowled splendidly.

For the second time in the season, RPS have won two from two against the same team. They won both their games against Mumbai Indians, and now have won both their games against RCB, both strong teams. Gives an idea of how RPS are now challenging for a spot in the playoffs, holding fourth place on the table.

6 - Ashish Nehra v KXIP, Bloemfontein, 2009

RCB needed to win five in a row to keep themselves in playoff contention, but RPS are loading their coffin with rocks and are lowering it into the sea. A win here, without Ben Stokes, will give RPS a lot of confidence (and might also make them wonder why they spent so much on him).

After 20 overs,Royal Challengers Bangalore 96/9 ( Sreenath Aravind 8 , Yuzvendra Chahal 4)

Christian to bowl the final over. Chahal times his cut in the third delivery towards sweeper cover quite well, though Rahane does a fine job to push the ball back into the playing area. Eight off the final over, with Aravind lofting the ball towards the deep extra-cover boundary as RCB bat their 20 overs out, though they fail to breach the 100-mark.

After 19 overs,Royal Challengers Bangalore 88/9 ( Sreenath Aravind 3 , Yuzvendra Chahal 1)

Ferguson bowls the penultimate over of the RCB innings, and the only positive that the visitors can draw from their position right now is to bat their quota of 20 overs out. Just two singles off this over, though the batsmen at the crease are trying to get a big hit or two, and not connecting at all. Ferguson finishes with figures of 4-1-7-2.

After 18 overs,Royal Challengers Bangalore 86/9 ( Sreenath Aravind 2 , Yuzvendra Chahal 0)

DROPPED! Kohli tries going big towards the leg side, but he gets dropped by Tiwary near the boundary. RCB's hopes eventually come to an end as he slices a slower ball from Christian towards the deep extra cover boundary, and ends up getting caught by substitute fielder Agarwal! Chahal is the last man out for Bangalore.

OUT! And that virtually is the end of the RCB innings, with Kohli miscuing a full delivery outside off that he tried to loft over extra-cover. Substitute fielder Agarwal takes the catch near the boundary, and RCB lose their ninth wicket with 84 on board.

Preview: Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) will aim to shed off their inconsistent run in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 on Saturday, when they take on a depleted Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), who are almost out of the race to the play-offs.

After back to back wins against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians, the Pune side went down to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their previous outing, to be at the fourth spot in the standings.

On the other hand, last year's runners-up RCB have found the going tough this season, managing to win only two of their nine matches to be languishing at the penultimate spot in the eight-team table.

Going into Saturday's first double-header at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium here, Pune will bank on their in-form opening duo of Ajinkya Rahane and Rahul Tripathi to give the team a great start.

The middle order comprising the likes of captain Steve Smith, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Manoj Tiwary has the experience to take the opposition bowlers to the cleaners at ease. With all-rounders Daniel Christian and Rajat Bhatia the lower order batting can come in handy if needed.

In the bowling department, the young Indian pace duo of Jaydev Unadkat and Shardul Thakur have impressed both in the opening and death overs while leg-spinner Imran Tahir, Christian and rookie tweaker Washington Sundar can provide the breakthroughs as well as stop the flow of runs in the middle overs.

Meanwhile, the Virat Kohli-led RCB have their task cut out if they are to stand any chance of making it to the play-offs.

The flop show in all the departments against Gujarat Lions at home on Thursday will only haunt them more when they take the field here.

RCB's fortunes depend on their captain and his opening partner Chris Gayle's domination at the top along with South African AB de Villiers, who also failed to fire against the Lions.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Kedar Jadhav was the lone bright spot along with all-rounder Pawan Negi but that was not enough for them to get over the line.

RCB's bowling too looked toothless with the likes of Sreenath Aravind, Travis Head, Aniket Choudhary failing to impress. Samuel Badree and Negi managed to be amongst the wickets.

Rising Pune Supergiant: Steve Smith (Captain), Mayank Agarwal, Ankit Sharma, Baba Aparajith, Ankush Bains, Rajat Bhatia, Deepak Chahar, Rahul Chahar, Daniel Christian, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (WK), Ashoke Dinda, Faf du Plessis, Lockie Ferguson, Imran Tahir, Jaskaran Singh, Usman Khawaja, Ajinkya Rahane, Saurabh Kumar, Ben Stokes Washington Sundar, Milind Tandon, Manoj Tiwary, Adam Zampa, Jaydev Unadkat, Ishwar Pandey, Rahul Tripathi, Shardul Thakur.

Royal Challengers Bangalore: Virat Kohli (Captain), Sreenath Aravind, Avesh Khan, Samuel Badree, Stuart Binny, Yuzvendra Chahal, Aniket Choudhary, AB de Villiers, Praveen Dubey, Chris Gayle, Harpreet Singh, Travis Head, Iqbal Abdulla, Kedar Jadhav, Mandeep Singh, Tymal Mills, Adam Milne, Pawan Negi, Harshal Patel, Sachin Baby, Tabraiz Shamsi, Billy Stanlake, Vishnu Vinod, Shane Watson.

Highlights DC vs RCB, IPL 2021, Match 22, Full Cricket Score: Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Delhi by 1 run

IPL 2021, Live Cricket Score, Delhi Capitals (DC) vs Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB): Mohammed Siraj is handed the ball for the final over, and keeps a tight leash early on, restricting Pant and Hetymer to a single off the first two, followed by a dot. Pant collects a brace off the fourth to bring up his half-century. Left with 10 off the last two, Pant only manages to collect back-to-back boundaries as Siraj doesn’t give him the room to go for a maximum. RCB win by 1 run as Pant and Hetmyer fail to guide their team home despite both remaining unbeaten after having brought up their fifties. What a thriller we’ve been treated to this evening!
