The last time India won a T20I at home was more than two years ago in March 2021 when they defeated South Africa in Lucknow. Since then, India have lost four and tied one while playing at home. On the whole, India only have 19 wins from 50 T20Is at home with 30 losses and one tied game. With the Women’s T20 World Cup slated for September-October 2024, this series is an opportunity for both teams to work on their preparations for the edition in Bangladesh.
