After beating Pakistan by 228 runs across two days, India shift focus to facing Sri Lanka in their second Super 4s clash in the Asia Cup. And once again, plenty of attention will be kept skywards with rain once again expected make an appearance. According to weather updates, there are chances of thunderstorms with 81 per cent humidity and 19 km/h wind. The temperature is predicted to be 29 degrees Celsius. India haven’t had the best luck dealing with the weather. Rohit Sharma’s team have spent plenty of time in the dressing room with all three matches in the tournament seeing rain with one of them washed out completely. In the Super Four stage, both India and Sri Lanka have one win each (as do Pakistan). But India are top of the table as a result of their resounding showing against Pakistan. Having played just 12 hours ago, there could be changes in the Indian team to keep things fresh for Friday when they play Bangladesh. Another approach could be to get the job done today and take a breather before the final.
