All eyes, however, will be on the weather in New York. Accuweather has predicted 61 per cent chance of rain in New York at 10 am local time. That is 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the match, which is 10.30 am. And while the rain is expected to recede at 11 am, thunderstorms have been predicted to take place during the match, which could threaten a washout.

The simple answer to this is there is no reserve day for any of the group stage matches or Super Eight matches. Play, however, can be extended by 90 minutes in case of rain interruption in New York.

For the second semi-final in Guyana on 27 June, 250 minutes can be added on to complete the contest if rain plays spoilsport.
The final will be held on 30 June if the match is not completed on 29 June. A total of 190 minutes will be added on both days if there is rain.
