Pakistan on Saturday announced an unchanged playing XI for their Asia Cup Super Four match against India, scheduled to take place in Colombo on Sunday. Pakistan had began their Super Four campaign of the Asia Cup with a seven-wicket win over Bangladesh, and another win, over India on Sunday would put them in the drivers’ seat to make the final. The playing XI consists of the pace trio of Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah, while Faheem Ashraf is the fourth seamer. Shadab Khan, Iftikhar Ahmed and Agha Salman will be the team’s three spinners.

The group stage game between India and Pakistan was abandoned due to rain in Pallekele, after India had posted 266. Rain is forecast for Sunday in Colombo as well, and it remains to be seen if there will be a full game. However, there is a reserve day specifically for the India vs Pakistan game on Monday.
