India vs New Zealand Highlights, 2nd Test in Pune, Day 3: Team India will look for quick wickets early on Day three of the second Test against New Zealand in Pune on Saturday. The Black Caps took a lead of 301 runs in the second innings on Friday after a knock of 86 from skipper Tom Latham.
At stumps on Day two, New Zealand were 198/5 with Tom Blundell (30*) and Glenn Phillips (9*) unbeaten. Washington Sundar continued his impressive form, picking four wickets, but India will have a lot of catching up to do with the bat if they are to chase this down.
New Zealand lead the series 1-0 following an eight-wicket win in the first Test in Bengaluru last week. That was the Kiwis’ first Test win on Indian soil in 36 years.
