Ravindra Jadeja on Friday became the seventh India cricketer to claim 200 wickets in ODIs, when he dismissed Shamim Hossain during India’s Asia Cup Super Four match against Bangladesh in Colombo. Follow LIVE: India vs Bangladesh Super Four Apart from Jadeja, Anil Kumble (337), Javagal Srinath (315), Ajit Agarkar (288), Zaheer Khan (282), Harbhajan Singh (269) and Kapil Dev (251) are the other Indian bowlers in the 200-wicket club in ODIs. Jadeja also became only the second Indian, after the legendary Kapil Dev, to have amassed 2000 runs and taken 200 wickets in ODIs. Kapil Dev had finished his ODI career with 253 wickets and 6945 runs. Jadeja, meanwhile, has so far taken 200 wickets and scored 2578 runs in the 50-over format. India have already qualified for the Asia Cup final and will face Sri Lanka in Colombo on Sunday. Jadeja has taken six wickets from five matches in the Asia Cup so far.
Apart from Jadeja, Anil Kumble (337), Javagal Srinath (315), Ajit Agarkar (288), Zaheer Khan (282), Harbhajan Singh (269) and Kapil Dev (251) are the other Indian bowlers in the 200-wicket club in ODIs.
