After their success in the Asia Cup 2023, the Indian team will now take on Australia in a 3-match ODI series. This will be the perfect opportunity for the players to put in one final audition before the ICC Cricket World Cup starts next month. For this series, India have announced two squads against the five-time world champions, Australia. In the first two ODIs against Australia, India will be without the services of their captain, Rohit Sharma, vice-captain Hardik Pandya, the batting mainstay Virat Kohli, and the currently in-form spinner Kuldeep Yadav. However, they have included experienced spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and the off-spinning all-rounder Washington Sundar for the three-match series. Notably, all-rounder Axar Patel, who sustained an injury during the Asia Cup, is included in the squad exclusively for the third ODI.
