Team India will be in for a long day on Thursday, 4 July when they arrive in India via a charter flight from Barbados, with the Rohit Sharma-led side set to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi followed by an open-top bus parade in Mumbai.

The Men in Blue were supposed to depart Barbados for New York on Monday morning before taking a connecting flight from Dubai for India a couple of days after winning the T20 World Cup for a second time.
