The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday announced the schedule for India’s five-match Test series against England in 2025. This Test series will be played after the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 final and will be part of the 2025-27 WTC cycle.
The five-match Test series will begin on 20 June at Headingley, Leeds with the last match being played between 31 July-4 August at The Kia Oval, London.
India’s fixtures for the five-match Test series vs England in 2025:
1st Test: 20-24 June, Headingley, Leeds
2nd Test: 2-6 July, Edgbaston, Birmingham
3rd Test: 10-14 July, Lord’s, London
4th Test: 23-27 July, Old Trafford, Manchester
5th Test: 31 July-4 August, The Kia Oval, London
The BCCI has not said anything about the practice match for India in England ahead of the Test series but if Rohit Sharma and Co reach the World Test Championship (WTC) 2025 final which will be played at Lord’s then they will be camping in England from beforehand.
India currently lead the WTC 2023-25 table with 68.54 percentage of points.
England were in India earlier this year when they lost the five-match Test series 4-1.

The fifth Test was finally played in 2022 in Birmingham and the hosts won that by seven wickets.
The Indian women’s cricket team will also be touring England in 2025 for a five-match T20I and three-game ODI series. Fixtures for the T20 and ODI series were also announced by BCCI.
