India’s final Group A match in the ongoing T20 World Cup, against Canada in Lauderhill, Florida ended in a washout without the toss taking place, resulting in the Men in Blue finishing unbeaten with seven points at the end of the group stage.

The Rohit Sharma-led team has been among the standout sides in the tournament so far and were widely backed to sign off from the USA leg of the World Cup with four wins in as many outings, which ultimately couldn’t happen due to inclement weather in Florida, including in Miami.

The result was met with a variety of reactions on social media, with several fans slamming the ground staff at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium in Lauderhill for not doing more to prevent yet another washout.
