Australia won the toss and skipper Mitchell Marsh opted to field in humid conditions at the Daren Sammy National Stadium in Gros Islet in what is the final Super 8 clash for both teams.
Australia had drafted in an extra spinner in Agar in place of Starc for their game against Afghanistan in St Vincent, which they ended up losing by 21 runs to suddenly face the prospect of failing to reach the semi-finals.

Agar had bowled a tidy spell against the Afghans, conceding just 17 runs from four overs including a maiden. The Aussies however, brought Starc back into the XI presumably due to the conditions in St Lucia, expecting the left-arm speedster to trouble the Indian top-order — particularly skipper Rohit — with some prodigious movement.
India, have made only one change so far in the tournament — bringing left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav in place of pacer Mohammed Siraj after shifting base to the Caribbean for the Super 8s after playing their Group A fixtures in the US.
