The duo was suspended pending an inquiry by BCCI and called back from Australia, barring them from participating in the ongoing ODI series Down Under. And now, the Khar Gymkhana in Mumbai has revoked the honorary three-year membership of Pandya in the wake of the controversy, according to a report in

. The report states that Pandya’s membership was revoked after people took to Gymkhana’s social media pages to express their displeasure over Pandya’s comments. He was awarded the membership in October 2018. Meanwhile, the pair has tendered an unconditional apology to the cricket board for their comments on the talk show. However, despite the apology, 10 BCCI units have demanded a Special General Meeting (SGM) for the appointment of an ombudsman for carrying out an inquiry.
