Gujarat Titans vs Punjab Kings, IPL 2024 Match 17 Preview: Punjab Kings face a stiff challenge in their bid to return to winning ways when they face former Indian Premier League (IPL) champions Gujarat Titans at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on Thursday.

Gujarat Titans have two out of three matches this season, their only defeat coming away from home at the hands of defending champions Chennai Super Kings, with the Shubman Gill-led side handing Sunrisers Hyderabad a thumping seven-wicket loss in their last outing on Sunday.

Punjab, meanwhile, have suffered back-to-back defeats on the road after starting the season with a four-wicket victory over Delhi Capitals at their newly-inaugurated home venue in Mullanpur.

Should they walk away with a third home win in as many outings this season, GT will eclipse CSK to the third spot on the table after going level with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) on six points. They could even eclipse RR if they end up thrashing PBKS by a humongous margin.
