GT find themselves at the sixth spot on the IPL 2024 points table with three wins and as many defeats, having pulled off a successful chase in a high-scoring encounter against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Jaipur in their last outing.

GT lead DC on the head-to-head count by two wins to one. The Titans had won their only encounter in 2022 by 14 runs, and would beat them again in their first meeting of the 2023 edition, successfully chasing down the 163-run target with six wickets to spare.
The Capitals, however, would pull off a thrilling five-run win in their next meeting on 2 May.
