The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the prize purse for the upcoming Champions Trophy, scheduled to be held in Pakistan and the UAE from 19 February onwards. The ICC has increased the total prize purse by a whopping 53 percent compared to the previous edition held in 2017.
Here’s how much the winners will get at 2025 Champions Trophy
The winner of the 2025 Champions Trophy will get a whopping $2.24 million (INR 19.4 crore). The runners-up will receive $1.12 million (INR 10 crore), while each losing semi-finalist will take home $560,000 (INR 4.8 crore). The total prize pool has increased by an impressive 53 percent from the 2017 edition, reaching $6.9 million (INR 59 crore).
Meanwhile, teams will pocket over $34,000 (INR 29 lakh) for each group-stage win at the competition. Teams finishing in fifth or sixth place will receive $350,000 (INR 3 crore) each, while the seventh and eighth-placed sides will take home $140,000 (INR 1.2 crore). Additionally, all eight teams will receive a guaranteed participating amount of $125,000 (INR 1 crore) each.
