Pakistan cricket greats are furious with India’s refusal to visit their neighbours for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy. It was reported last week that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made it clear to the International Cricket Council (ICC) that Rohit Sharma and Co will not travel to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy which will take place in February-March net year.
A few reports also say that work is currently underway on drawing up a 'Hybrid Model' where India will play their matches in UAE, but such an arrangement is not acceptable to former Pakistan cricket legends.

Javed Miandad feels the Men in Green should stop playing cricket against India as an act of revenge for BCCI not allowing their team to come to Pakistan.
“It is a joke that this is happening. Even if we don’t play India at all, Pakistan cricket will not only survive but prosper as well as we have shown in the past. I would like to see how the ICC events earn money when there are no Pakistan and India matches,” said Miandad, as per the news agency PTI.

Former Pakistan captain Inzamam ul Haq is equally disappointed, saying that there’s no security threat for Tam India in his country.
“They are depriving cricket of such a big occasion. There is no threat to the Indian team in Pakistan. In fact, they would get the best hospitality here,” said Inzamam.
Former wicket-keeper Rashid Latif feels the time has come to bring an end to the “purely political” step. “Enough is enough. When all teams are playing in Pakistan without any problem, this decision by India is purely political, and that should be unacceptable in all sports, including cricket,” he said.
