The Indian cricket team arrived in Dubai on Saturday (15 February) for their upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025 campaign . While the United Arab Emirates may not be one of the major cricketing nations, Team India players were greeted with cheers and applause as fans lined up at the airport to welcome Rohit Sharma and Co.
The entire journey of Team India from Mumbai to Dubai was captured by a video created and posted by BCCI’s media team. During their journey Rishabh Pant was seen having fun with his teammates, reading their horoscope statements.

Team India lands in Dubai for Champions Trophy 2025
The Indian cricket team landed in Dubai on late Saturday afternoon and is soon expected to get into training mode. Remember no warm-ups are scheduled for Team India , who play their first match against Bangladesh on 20 February in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Having beaten England 3-0 in the recently concluded ODI series at home, the Team India management feels that they are in the best shape to take on the challenges of the Champions Trophy 2025.
Apart from Bangladesh, India also have Pakistan and New Zealand in their group. The match against Pakistan is on 23 February while Kiwis will face India on 2 March.
India are the only team to be based out of Dubai in the Champions Trophy 2025. They refused to travel to main hosts Pakistan due to security issues and are playing all their matches in UAE under a hybrid model, including the semi-final and final if they qualify.
