Thousands of fans were left disappointed as India vs Pakistan match tickets were sold out within minutes. The tickets went up for sale online on Monday (3 February) and as per reports 1,50,000 people queued up for tickets but only a few were able to secure their passes. India’s match against Pakistan in the Champions Trophy 2025 will be played on 23 February.

The craze for an India vs Pakistan cricket match was on display once again as the tickets for the upcoming marquee clash in the Champions Trophy 2025 were sold out within minutes. The Indian cricket team will be playing against Pakistan in the Champions Trophy 2025 Group A match in Dubai and tickets for the same went online for sale at 5:30 PM IST on 3 January (Monday).

However, a mad rush resulted in thousands of fans failing to secure tickets for the India-Pakistan clash. As per media reports, 1,50,000 people queued up for tickets. Fans had to wait online for over an hour, however, most were left disappointed as the tickets were sold out quickly including that for premium Dirham 2,000 Platinum (Rs 47,434) and Dirham 5,000 Grand Lounge (Rs 1,18,584) sections.

“I waited 3 hours to get the link for ICC champions trophy ticket of India vs Pakistan. As soon as the link appeared on the official website, the queue already had 150k people on it. How come they had the link and not ppl on the official website? So unfair!!!” a user wrote on X.

The tickets for the India-Pakistan clash started with general stands that were priced at Dirham 500 (Rs 5926) .

“I anticipated a long queue, but the speed at which tickets vanished was shocking. By the time I secured my place, only two categories remained, both beyond my budget,” Sudhashree, a Dubai resident, was quoted as saying by the news agency IANS.

The Indian cricket team is playing all its matches in Dubai as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) refused to travel to Pakistan due to security issues.
