Abhimanyu Mithun bowls unbelievable no-ball in Abu Dhabi T10 league; watch video

In a truly unusual incident during the Abu Dhabi T10 League, former India pacer Abhimanyu Mithun left fans bewildered when he bowled a huge no ball. It took place in the 14th match of the tournament where Mithun overstepped while bowling, but the significant distance between his foot and the crease astonished everyone. This episode took place during the clash between Chennai Braves and the Northern Warriors. After this incident, images and videos of Mithun’s peculiar no-ball went viral on social media, sparking speculation about any potential irregularities. Overstepping is quite common in cricket, but what was bewildering was the extent to which Mithun’s foot went over the crease. Chennai Braves were set a target of 107 runs and successfully achieved it in 9.4 overs. Sikandar Raza played an excellent knock as the match-winner for Chennai, contributing 27 runs off just 10 balls. Apart from Raza, Asalanka (22 off 16) and Stephen Eskinazi (22 off 13) made impactful contributions. What happened in the match?

Sikandar Raza, Charith Asalanka, and Stephen Eskinazi starred with the bat and powered Chennai Brave to a five-wicket victory over Northern Warriors in the Abu Dhabi T10 League on Saturday. Chasing 107 runs, Raza played a blazing innings as he raced to 27 runs off just 10 balls in an innings that featured three maximums and one boundary. Asalanka and Eskinazi chipped in with 22 runs each. Abhimanyu Mithun shone with the ball, despite all the controversy, and ended with figures of 2/11, while Angelo Mathews and James Neesham claimed one wicket each. Earlier in the day, the Warriors ended with 106/3 in their allotted 10 overs. Hazratullah Zazai of Afghanistan led the batting charge and top scored with 54 runs off 32 deliveries - in an innings that included one six and seven boundaries. Adam Hose remained unbeaten on 24 off 10, with one maximum and three fours. With this win, Brave climbed to the sixth position in the 2023 Abu Dhabi T10 League points table. Warriors, on the other hand, slipped to fifth with two wins in four games. The Brave will now take on New York Strikers on December 6, while the Warriors will be up against Delhi Bulls on the same day.
