RR vs PBKS, IPL 2025 Highlights: Punjab Kings will be aiming to inch closer to their first appearance in the Indian Premier League playoffs in 11 years when they face Rajasthan Royals at Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium in the afternoon clash of the Sunday double-header. PBKS currently are third in the IPL standings with 15 points, having won seven and lost three so far this season with their away match against Kolkata Knight Riders getting washed out.

Rajasthan Royals, on the other hand, have already been eliminated from the playoffs race and are currently playing for pride, and to ensure they avoid finishing at the bottom of the table.

RR had thrashed PBKS by 50 runs when the two teams had met in Mullanpur earlier this season. Yashasvi Jaiswal (67 off 45) and Riyan Parag (43 off 25) led the way as the Royals posted 205/4. Jofra Archer’s 3/25 as well as handy contributions from Sandeep Sharma (2/21) and Maheesh Theekshana (2/26) ensured the Kings could manage just 155/9 in reply.

PBKS had raced to 122/1 after 10.1 overs after opting to bat against Delhi Capitals at Dharamsala’s HPCA Stadium, their second home ground, on 8 May when the game had to be called off due to the military conflict between India and Pakistan.
