Former India Test and T20I captain Rohit Sharma has recently bought a beautiful new Lamborghini Urus, the pictures of which are going viral on social media. What is the meaning behind Rohit’s new registration plate?

The number 3015 apparently represents two important days in Rohit’s life. They are the birthdays of his children, Samaira and Ahaan. The ‘30’ stands for Samaira’s birthday, which is on December 30, and the ‘15’ stands for Ahaan’s birthday, which is on November 15. Earlier, Rohit’s cars had registration numbers linked to his cricketing career, like his jersey number or his highest ODI score - 264.

Interestingly, when you add 30 and 15 together, you get 45, which is Rohit’s famous jersey number. Rohit had gifted his old blue Lamborghini Urus to a Dream11 contest winner in May.

Rohit was last seen in action during IPL 2025. He is currently enjoying quality time with his friends and family after retiring from Tests and T20Is. However, he still hasn’t stepped down from the 50-over format, keeping in mind the 2027 ODI World Cup. Rohit is also the captain of the Indian ODI team and is expected to lead the side in the next ICC mega event.

Meanwhile, reports have emerged suggesting that Rohit, along with Virat Kohli, might be forced to retire from ODIs before the 2027 World Cup. A Dainik Jagran report has claimed that the Indian team management might request both players to step down following the Australia tour in October, as they plan to bring in younger talent ahead of the big tournament.
