Ashwani Kumari is a batting all-rounder who bats in lower middle order. The 25-year-old right-handed batter was born on August 25, 1997.
She represents Jharkhand women in domestic cricket. In Senior Women’s T20 Challenger Trophy 2022, she was a part of India D. The right-handed batter played an impressive knock of 31 in the game against India A, where she was the top-scorer of her team.
Ashwani began as a pacer during the formative years of her career. Her hard-hitting abilities were noticed by the state team coach which resulted in her being asked to open the innings. She ended up hitting big sixes. Ashwani possesses an all-round threat for the opposition.
