MS Dhoni once again reminded everyone why he is regarded as one of the quickest wicket-keepers in the game. During Chennai Super Kings’ clash against Mumbai Indians, the CSK veteran pulled off a lightning-fast stumping to dismiss Suryakumar Yadav.

MS Dhoni’s lightning-quick stumping was on full display as he whipped off the bails in a flash to dismiss Mumbai Indians’ stand-in captain Suryakumar Yadav on Sunday during the Indian Premier League’s (IPL) 'El Clasico' .

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) match against MI in IPL has always been one of the most cricket games and it’s things like Dhoni’s stumpings, Rohit Sharma’s pyrotechnics and Jasprit Bumrah’s lethal bowling that makes it the ‘El Clasico’ of IPL.

Dhoni’s quick stumping goes viral

The fans have already been treated with another Dhoni special behind the wickets as the 43-year-old returned to competitive cricket after almost a year gap.

Suryakumar, who is captaining MI in the absence of Hardik Pandya, was guilty of leaving the pitch against Afghanistan left-arm wrist-spinner Noor Ahmad as Dhoni did the rest. The video of Dhoni affecting the stumping has gone viral on social media platforms with fans praising Dhoni’s quick hands.

As per Star Sports, Dhoni took just 0.12 seconds to complete the stumping and dismiss Suryakumar who scored 29 off 26 and was threatening to MI in the front after CSK made a strong start to the match .
