The stage is set for a high-stakes clash in the IPL 2025 Eliminator as Mumbai Indians take on Gujarat Titans at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh. With everything on the line, both teams will be looking to bring their A-game in a bid to stay alive in the tournament.
Mumbai Indians won the toss and opted to bat first. MI have made three changes to their playing XI. Jonny Bairstow has replaced Ryan Rickelton, Richard Gleeson is making his debut, and Raj Angad Bawa is also playing. Meanwhile, GT have changed two players - Kusal Mendis comes in for Jos Buttler and Washington Sundar for Arshad Khan.
The winner of this Eliminator will move one step closer to the final by booking a place in Qualifier 2, where they will face Punjab Kings, who lost badly to Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Qualifier 1 on Thursday. The loser, however, will be knocked out of the competition.
