Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) star Jitesh Sharma had an awkward moment at Lord’s Cricket Ground during the recently concluded third Test between India and England. In a video that is going viral on social media, Jitesh could be seen standing near the Lord’s media centre trying to explain to the security staff who he was after they didn’t recognise him.
Dinesh Karthik rescues Jitesh Sharma
Despite his repeated attempts to explain who he was, the security officials refused to let him in. Jitesh, who was surrounded by a group of fans, looked visibly frustrated. Just then, former India wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik, who was attending the match as a commentator, came to pick him up.
Karthik later clarified on social media that Jitesh had been invited by him to the media centre, and the video circulating online was actually from the media centre entrance, not the main gate of Lord’s.
