Kolkata Knight Riders - Rs 64.3 crore

The three-time champions will be going into the auction with a mammoth of a purse and will definitely be the busiest team. The two headline releases of the day were from KKR in the form of Andre Russell and Venkatesh Iyer.

Chennai Super Kings - Rs 43.4 crore

Boosted by the arrival of Sanju Samson, CSK will enter the auction with the second highest purse. After finishing last in 2025 for the first time in IPL history, CSK has gone for a big reboot clearing up a sizeable part of their squad.

SunRisers Hyderabad - Rs 25.5 crore

The 2016 champions SRH have the third highest purse going into the next auction. The trade of Mohammed Shami helped them free up Rs 10 crore and then a few other releases means they have a strong purse with not many holes to fill.

Lucknow Super Giants - Rs 22.9 crore

After Rishabh Pant’s debut season at Lucknow did not go as expected, the franchise has gone for three big-money releases in David Miller, Akash Deep and Ravi Bishnoi. LSG will have to do some decent shopping in the auction to make a well-rounded squad.

Delhi Capitals - Rs 21.8 crore

Jake Fraser-McGurk experiment did not work for DC last season, and they have now thrown him into the auction along with some other names, helping them free up a decent amount for next auction.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru - Rs 16.4 crore

The defending champions put back Liam Livingstone and a few others in the auction freeing up a sizeable amount. With not many chinks in the armour, RCB can go all in on their one target that will further boost their side.

Rajasthan Royals - Rs 16.05 crore

RR have lost their captain Sanju Samson to CSK but got Ravindra Jadeja, Sam Curran and Donovan Ferreira through trades to solve their lower order issues. They will have to add to their bowling attack with not much money left.

Gujarat Titans - Rs 12.9 crore

GT have once again relied on stability, releasing just five players into the auction. They will be on the lookout for some Indian names though but will have their hands tied due to purse.

Punjab Kings - Rs 11.5 crore

Known to enter auctions with the strongest purse, PBKS this time will have the second least amount to spend at the auction. With majority of squad settled, expect some steal deals.

Mumbai Indians - Rs 2.75 crore

MI could well stay at home on the auction day as they do not have any money left to spend. However, they have already settled their side by trading in three players.
