Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson is getting a lot of hate from fans after messing up two DRS calls in the IPL 2025 match against Delhi Capitals on Wednesday. People on social media are trolling him, saying he tried to copy the legendary MS Dhoni behind the stumps but failed badly.

Samson commits DRS mistakes

The first big mistake happened in the 13th over when Abishek Porel tried to hit Jofra Archer over the keeper’s head but missed. It looked like he didn’t touch the ball, so no one appealed, not even Samson. But then replays showed there was a small edge. If Samson had taken the review, it would have been out.

Luckily for Rajasthan Royals, Porel got out in the next over to Wanindu Hasaranga for 49 runs. Then in the 18th over, Samson made another mistake. Sandeep Sharma bowled a bouncer to Ashutosh Sharma. This time, Samson made a loud appeal and went for DRS. But UltraEdge showed there was no bat involved. RR lost their review.
