IPL 2025 Restart LIVE Updates: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) ended the suspense on the resumption of the Indian Premier League on Monday by unveiling a revised schedule for the remaining matches of the season. The BCCI had suspended the 18th IPL season for a week on Friday due to the armed conflict between India and Pakistan, which had resulted in the match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals in Dharamsala getting called off halfway into the PBKS innings.
The BCCI conducted a meeting to discuss the resumption of the league a day after India and Pakistan arrived at a ceasefire agreement, and on Monday unveiled a revised schedule – in which the remaining matches would take place from 17 May to 3 June.
Bengaluru, Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, Lucknow and Ahmedabad will be hosting the remaining league matches while the BCCI is yet to take a call on the venues for the playoffs, which get underway from 29 May. Hyderabad and Kolkata were originally scheduled to host the playoffs and could still be in contention.
The revised schedule includes two double-headers, both taking place on Sundays (18 and 25 May).
