KL Rahul scripted a new IPL record on Saturday as he became the fastest Indian in the league to smash 200 sixes. Overall, the Delhi Capitals wicketkeeper-batter Rahul is third in the list of fastest to reach 200 sixes in the Indian Premier League.
Rahul etched his name in the history books against the Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2025 match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. He took 128 innings to reach 200 sixes in IPL, while the overall record is held by Chris Gayle, who reached the landmark in just 69 innings, while another West Indian, Andre Russell, took 97 innings to hit 200 sixes in IPL and is second in the combined list.
Rahul is also the only Indian batter in the list of fastest 200 sixes.
