Pakistan, on the other hand, have been scratchy, but have somehow managed to keep their campaign alive. After nearly catching an early flight back home following the boycott drama in the group stage, the Salman Agha-led side clinched their place in the final with victories over Sri Lanka and Bangladesh – beating the latter by just 11 runs.

The upcoming face-off between the two arch-rivals will be a historic one given this will be the first India-Pakistan final in the 41-year history of the Asia Cup – across the ODI and T20I formats.
