India vs New Zealand Live Score 4th T20: India face New Zealand in the penultimate T20I of the series on Wednesday, January 28, at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Vishakhapatnam. India have already won the series by winning the first three matches and are looking to further dominate the BlackCaps, who have been ordinary with both bat and ball in the series.
India completed a 154-run chase in just 10 overs to win the third T20I in Guwahati and take an unassailable lead in the five-match series. Before that, India had also chased down 209 in only 15.2 overs in the second game of the series. In the opening match, India had earned another solid 48-run victory.
With three convincing victories, India have further boosted their credentials as favourites to defend their T20 World Cup title. And will hope to extend the lead in the fourth T20 .
Suryakumar finds form in IND vz NZ series
Coming into the series, India’s biggest headache was the form of captain Suryakumar Yadav who had not scored a half-century in the entire 2025. However, he has returned to form and now has smashed two consecutive half-centuries without getting out in the last two matches. With Abhishek Sharma and other batters already breathing fire, the captain’s return to form further strengthens India.
The bowling too has looked brilliant so far, with back-ups like Harshit Rana and Ravi Bishnoi also showing their worth in the chances that they have got in the series.
However, India have to take a big call on Sanju Samson who has not scored enough in the first three T20Is. With Ishan Kishan in superb touch, India might be tempted to go towards the left-hander, especially if Samson does not score big in the final couple of matches.
New Zealand will be at full strength finally tonight, with Finn Allen also joining the squad. However, it remains to be seen if he can participate in tonight’s game. Anyways, it would be tough for them to compete if their bowling and batting both carry on in the way that it is doing so far. Captain Mitchell Santner will have to find his bowling form and the new ball pair of Jacob Duffy and Matt Henry also need to find more wickets early on.
