Cricket score India vs England 4th Test: The Indian cricket team’s injury problems keep rising as Rishabh Pant is most likely ruled out of the ongoing fourth Test against England after suffering a foot injury on Day 1 of the Manchester Test on Wednesday. Rishabh Pant has suffered a fractured toe, reportedly, and could be out of action for at least six weeks. Meanwhile, India will resume their first innings on 264/4 on Day 2, Thursday.

Shardul Thakur and Ravindra Jadeja, who were on an identical score of 19 at Stumps on Day 1, will be back to bat for India. The possibility of Pant batting again in the Test match is very low, but he may be forced to do that with the help of painkillers if need arises.
On Day 1, India were given a solid opening by Yashasvi Jaiswal (58) and KL Rahul (46) as they scored 94 together while Sai Sudharsan smashed a gritty 61 on his return, replacing Karun Nair.
India captain Shubman Gill could only add 12, while Pant was batting on 27 when he suffered the injury. He hurt his right foot after inside-edging a reverse sweep shot onto his right foot off Chris Woakes’ bowling.
England captain Ben Stokes took two wickets on Day 1, removing Gill and Sudharsan.
