India and England are ready to face off one last time in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, with the 5th and final Test starting on Thursday, July 31 at The Oval in London. India have lost the toss for the 15th time in a row in international cricket. England’s stand-in skipper Ollie Pope won the toss and elected to bowl first.

“A bit more grass, overhead conditions, a bit of a no-brainer. Lost a few men, the captain down, but Woakes is tracking nicely, and some fresh faces and a long batting order. We won’t be content with 2-2. We want to make it 3-1,” Pope said.

“As long as we win the match I don’t mind losing the toss. Our bowlers are very much ready, a good wicket, everyone will chip in,” Gill said.

India have made four changes to their playing XI, with Dhruv Jurel coming in for Rishabh Pant, Karun Nair in for Shardul Thakur, Prasidh Krishna in for Anshul Kamboj, and Akash Deep in for Jasprit Bumrah.

England announced their playing XI on the eve of the match and also made four changes. They have dropped three bowlers in Jofra Archer, Brydon Carse, and Liam Dawson, while Ben Stokes suffered a shoulder injury and was forced out.
