Indian players had a laugh while warming up as their skipper Suryakumar Yadav lost another toss. Yadav though said he was fine with losing tosses if the result of the match was in India’s favour.

“Until you’re winning the game and losing the toss, it’s fine. Want to go out and express ourselves,” the Indian T20I captain told Ravi Shastri at the toss.

Yadav also mentioned that apart from the openers, all other batters need to be flexible with their positions in the batting line-up.

Rinku returned to the side for the first time since hitting the winning runs for India in the 2025 Asia Cup final against Pakistan in September.

Australia captain Mitchell Marsh, meanwhile, named an unchanged playing XI and said that the hosts wanted to draw the series by winning the final game.
