India captain Suryakumar Yadav has won the toss and decided to bowl first against Australia in the third T20 International at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart. The visitors are looking to bounce back after losing the previous match in Melbourne and have made a few changes to strengthen their side.
India have brought in Jitesh Sharma as the wicketkeeper in place of Sanju Samson, while Arshdeep Singh has replaced Harshit Rana to add some variation in the pace attack. Washington Sundar has also returned to the playing XI, coming in for veteran spinner Kuldeep Yadav.
Suryakumar said at the toss that the pitch looks good for batting but might offer a bit of help for the fast bowlers early on, which is why they decided to bowl first. Meanwhile, Mitchell Marsh announced one change to Australia’s playing XI, with Sean Abbott coming in for Josh Hazlewood.
