India A captain Jitesh Sharma won the toss and decided to bowl first in the first semifinal of the 2025 Rising Stars Asia Cup against Bangladesh A on Friday, November 21 at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha.

Bangladesh A, led by wicket-keeper batter Akbar Ali, topped their group with two wins and a loss. India A also won two and lost one game in the group stage but finished second behind Pakistan A.

While there are some really talented players on both the sides, all eyes will be once again on the 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi. The wonderkid set the tournament on fire with a stunning 42-ball 144 in the first game against UAE. He then hit another impressive 45 in the second game against Pakistan in front of a solid bowling attack. His tournament strike rate is currently 240 and the boy would once again be looking to tear apart the Bangladesh A attack.
