As Wimbledon 2025 is in full swing, prominent individuals from varied fields are making a stop at the All-England Club. The likes of Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, Roger Federer, Andrew Garfield, etc, have already been captured watching the Tennis action being held on a grass surface. From India, Kohli was there along with his wife and now Rishabh Pant has made waves by making his presence felt at Wimbledon.

Rishabh Pant names the tennis player who carries the same persona as his

Taking time off from the rigorous practice sessions ahead of the start of the 3rd India vs England Test at Lord’s, Rishabh Pant went to watch a Round of 16 game on Monday. Suited for the event he was caught by the Wimbledon media at the event. Pant spared a few minutes to give brief answers to the questions posed in front of him.

This was Pant’s first time at Wimbledon and hence he felt “great to be " there. Pant named “Roger Federer” as his favourite Tennis player. He also gave a mention to Djokovic and also made it known that he fancies watching “Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz” from the younger lot. He was later asked, “Which tennis player has the charisma like Rishabh Pant?” To which he picked the Aussie “Nick Kyrgios”.

Those who follow both cricket and tennis may agree with Rishabh Pant’s pick. Just like Pant, there is always something happening when Nick Kyrgios takes the court. Both are crowd-pullers and exceptional entertainers. Plus, do not refrain from playing out-of-the-book shots. There are a lot of uncanny similarities between Pant and Kyrgios.

Rishabh Pant is on a roll against England

Rishabh Pant is proving to be the X-factor for India in the series against England. The Wicket-keeper batsman scored a century in both innings of the 1st Test and followed it up with a crucial half-century knock in the 2nd innings of the 2nd Test. After two matches he has amassed 342 runs. If Pant keeps pilling on runs with consistency, India will have a genuine chance of winning the series. Currently, the 5-match affair is at one apiece. The 3rd Test will begin on Thursday, July 10.
