Gill scored a memorable century, whereas Rahul fell short of the mark by 10 runs. Gill and Rahul stitched a 188-run stand. Following that, Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar took the responsibility and batted for the entire next two sessions and glided India to safety. Both completed their centuries and as a result India ended the match at 425, having batted for 113 overs. The match ended in a draw. Ben Stokes was adjudged the man of the match for his all-round performance. Stokes took a fifer and smashed a brilliant 141 in the match.
