  • 203 is the target now and South Africa are big time favorites to chase this down. Can it be defended? Pakistan will have to bowl out of their skins. Will they take a 2-0 lead or will the series be levelled? Join us in a while to find out.
  • That is when the fightback started though. Hasan Ali, along with his skipper, added a 90-run stand which provided some respectability to the score. The skipper was happy to knock it around and take the singles, whereas the pacer tonked the ball to all parts of the ground. He got his second ODI fifty up but two wickets in one over from Andile, who finished with career-best figures, ended the Pakistan innings.
  • The South African bowlers were on song right from the start. It was Rabada who got two in the first 10. Then, Olivier and Phehlukwayo joined the party. Shadab and Malik did try and steady the ship but Shamsi then got the better of the leg spinner. Talat and Malik were dismissed soon and at that point 150 looked farfetched.
  • End of a very, very good bowling performance by South Africa. They have justified their skipper's decision of bowling first, however, they would not be happy with the fact that the visitors crossed the 200-run mark, especially after they were reeling at 112/8.
  • 45.5 OUT! Hasan Ali departs. A excellent, excellent innings from him has to come to an end. Full on middle and leg, Ali tries to heave it over long on. He doesn't time this well and Faf du Plessis there times his jump to perfection as he takes a good catch moving to his left. Hasan Ali has to go for 59 off just 45 balls. Andile Phehlukwayo gets his career-best figures of 22/4 in 9.5 overs. PAKISTAN ARE BOWLED OUT FOR 203.
  • 45.4 Brilliant bowling. Knuckle ball and it's a yorker outside leg, Ali tries to hit it but misses. The ball hits his pads. Good stuff from Phehlukwayo.
  • 45.3 Good ball! Slow outside off, Ali charges down and goes after it but misses.
  • 45.2 Full outside off, Afridi gets an outside edge and the ball goes towards the third man region for a single.
  • Shaheen Afridi is the last man in.
  • 45.1 OUT! The partnership is broken and Sarfraz Ahmed is back to the pavilion. It is full on off, the ball keeps low after pitching. It goes under Sarfraz's bat and deflects off his pad and hits the timber. The Pakistan skipper misses out on a well deserved fifty. Phehlukwayo gets the breakthrough, but a good knock from the skipper. Has taken his team to a decent total.
  • Andile Phehlukwayo is back on.
  • 44.6 Length delivery outside off, cuts it straight to the fielder at point. 202/8
  • 44.5 FOUR! Two in two. Full on middle, Ali flicks it over square leg and the ball takes a bounce and goes over the fence for another boundary.
  • 44.4 FOUR! Gets his front foot out of the way and hits it through mid off for a boundary. He's timing the ball so cleanly. This was right in his slot and he put it away.
  • 44.3 Length delivery outside off, guides it to third man for a single.
  • 44.2 FOUR! Classic drive by Sarfraz. Full outside off, Ahmed gets on his front foot and drives it through point for a boundary.
  • 44.1 Starts with a full length delivery on off, Hasan pushes it to mid off and takes a single.
  • Dane Paterson back on.
  • 43.6 Fifty for Hasan Ali, his 2nd in ODI cricket. And it's come in good time too. This has been a fantastic knock. Everyone else in the batting line-up should take note. He gets to the milestone after tapping it on the off side and crossing over. 188/8

  • 42.3 FOUR! Ali on fire. On the pads and it is short, Hasan gets down on one knee and sweeps it to the square leg region for a boundary.
  • 42.2 Beauty! Tossed up on off, Hasan tries to defend but the ball misses his bat and the stumps by a whisker.
  • 42.1 Flighted on middle, Sarfraz tries to pull but gets hit on the pad outside leg. The ball goes to short fine leg fielder and they take a run. The umpire signals it as leg bye.

  • 41.4 Shortish delivery in line of the stumps, Hasan Ali clears his front leg and slaps the pull down to long on. The batsmen cross over.
  • 41.3 Short of a good length into the body, tucked to square leg by moving inside the leg. A single is collected.
  • 41.2 Quite full and outside off again, drilled through to sweeper cover for one.
  • 41.1 Fuller delivery outside off, driven through the covers for a single.
  • Duanne Olivier comes back into the attack.
  • 40.6 The batsman has punched the ball off the back foot. 172/8
  • 40.5 Flatter and on off, it is kept out.
  • 40.4 Driven through the covers by the batsman. The batsmen have run through for a single.
  • 40.4 Tries to sweep the ball which is down the leg side, misses. It has been wided. Now then, Ultra Edge later on shows that it had kissed the glove. So it would go down as a dropped catch by the keeper as he had failed to collect it.
  • 40.3 Now Hasan plays the sweep through mid-wicket for a single.
  • 40.2 Swept and swept nicely! It is down the leg side, Sarfraz sweeps it through short fine leg for three.
  • 40.1 On the pads, it is worked around the corner for a run.
  • Powerplay 3 signalled. A maximum of 5 fielders will be allowed outside the ring till the end of the innings. Also, Tabraiz Shamsi is back into the attack.
  • 39.6 Direct hit needed but the fielder misses! Sarfraz taps this towards point. Hasan wants a run but is sent back by his skipper. The fielder has a shy at the bowler's end but misses. Had he hit, it would have been close. 165/8
  • 39.5 Nicely bowled but a poor shot that! It is around off, pitches and straightens. Sarfraz tries to flick a ball which is so wide, he gets beaten.
  • 39.4 This is nicely hit through covers but only for a single.
  • 39.3 A little too straight, Sarfraz works it to fine leg for a single.
  • 39.2 Back of a length on off, Sarfraz keeps it out.
  • 39.1 A mild appeal but nothing from the umpire. Shortish and on off, it comes back in. Sarfraz tries to flick but misses to get hit high on the pads.
  • 38.6 This time he does guide it down to third man and keeps strike. 163/8
  • 38.5 BEATEN! On the shorter side, Ahmed looks to guide it down to third man but fails to do so.
  • 38.4 50-run stand is up between the two! What a handy one and a very entertaining one. Also, it is Hasan Ali who has done the majority of the scoring. He also takes the single to bring that up. He works it around the corner to do so.
  • 38.3 Once again it is over the mid off fielder! Frustrating this for the hosts. Back of a length delivery on off, Hasan tries to slap but it hits the higher part of the bat. It lobs over the mid off fielder and the batsmen take two.
  • 38.2 Back of a length on off, it is guided through point for a run.
  • 38.1 Good length on off, it is played towards point.
  • 37.6 The batsman has played that off the front foot and into the ground. 158/8
  • 37.5 A bouncer and it is ducked under.
  • 37.4 In the air... but safe! An excellent attempt by Paterson. Slightly slower and fuller this time. Hasan swings but this time does not get the distance and only manages to get height. It is over mid on. Paterson runs after it and dives but can't get to it. Two taken.
  • 37.3 SIX! Take that says Hasan Ali! A nothing delivery, length ball and Hasan loves it there. He smacks it over the mid-wicket fence for a biggie.

  • 35.4 Shamsi goes shorter and it is outside off, Ali cuts it through point and takes two.
  • 35.3 FOUR! Hasan Ali is on the charge here. Another delivery which is very full. Ali lofts it over the bowler's head and into the fence.
  • 35.2 Another lofted shot by Hasan and more runs for Pakistan. Tosses it up on off, Hasan lofts it over the mid off fielder and takes two.
  • 35.1 On the pads, Sarfraz works it to short fine leg. Hasan wants a run, Sarfraz is late to respond but eventually completes it.
  • 34.6 SIX! Hasan Ali is going to enjoy himself out there. Slightly short and it sits up to be hit. He flat-bats it over the long on fence. 10 from the last two balls. These are handy runs for the visitors. 129/8
  • 34.5 FOUR! Up and over! Excellent shot by Hasan Ali. Full and on off, Ali lofts it over mid off and the ball races to the fence.
  • 34.4 OHHH! Length delivery outside off, Hasan pokes at it and gets beaten.
  • 34.3 A little bit of width on offer, it is creamed through covers for a single.
  • 34.2 Another in-dipper from outside off, Sarfraz plays it very late and he ends up guiding it to the man at slip, on the bounce.
  • 34.1 Good length around off, the batter tries to drive but it goes off the inner half towards mid-wicket.

  • 32.6 Beaten! Short of a good length outside off, moving away late, Hasan looks to play away from his body and fails to connect. 113/8

  • 32.4 Defended off the back foot by Hasan Ali.

  • 32.1 Good length delivery on middle and leg, flicked through the vacant square leg area for one.
  • Hasan Ali comes out to bat now.
  • 31.6 OUT! All three reds are ticked and Ashraf is out of here. Shamsi deceives the batsman with the wrong 'un. Lands it outside off and it turns into the batsman, Ashraf prods forward to defend but is caught on the pad. The spinner loudly appeals and the umpire raises his finger. Faheem speaks with his skipper and the latter signals the 'T'. Replays roll in and show the southpaw is gone for all money. Pakistan lose another wicket along with their only review. 112/8
  • Review time. Faheem Ashraf has been caught leg before and given out. He's taken the DRS here. Could be going down leg. Let's see...
  • 31.5 Flatter and shorter on middle and leg, tucked behind square leg from the back foot. Single taken.
  • 31.4 The batsman has played that off the front foot and into the ground.
  • 31.3 Quite loopy and very full outside off, driven to covers.
  • 31.2 Worked down on the leg side. No run taken.

  • 30.6 Cutting back in from a good length, worked on the leg side. End of the over. 107/7

  • 30.4 Full delivery just outside off, Ashraf drives it back down towards mid off.
  • 30.3 Full delivery hurled well outside off, angling away, Ashraf drives it to man at extra cover.
  • Drinks are on the field. Also, Faheem Ashraf is the new man in.
  • 30.2 OUT! That's a massive wicket. The experienced head of Shoaib Malik makes an error in judgement and pays the price for it. This is a body blow to Pakistan, he was set out there and looking good, departs at the absolute wrong time. Short ball angling in on middle and leg, Malik rocks back and pulls it over mid-wicket with a swivel. Hits it straight down the throat of Reeza Hendricks who makes no mistake in taking that.
  • 30.2 Wide! Down the leg side, wide called by the umpire.
  • 30.1 Fuller length ball on middle and leg, at 132 kph, it's driven to mid on.
  • 29.6 Nudged in front of square leg with the spin and Shoaib keeps strike by taking a run. 106/6
  • 29.5 Short and quicker outside off, Malik backs away and cuts it late down to third man. Big gap out there, manages to come back for the second.
  • 29.4 Too straight in line, Malik gently turns it down beside him on the leg side.
  • 29.3 Goes with the spin and turns it away square on the leg side for one.

  • 28.6 A little extra bounce outside off as the ball lands on a length, played to point to end the over. 102/6
  • 28.5 On the up but quite safe. Shoaib Malik drives it towards mid off, it was in the air for a while but no harm done.
  • 28.4 Worked away into the leg side and jogs across to the other end.
  • 28.3 Good attempt and a good stop from the fielder. Back of a length outside off, Ahmed attempts to run it down to third man but steers it too close to the slip fielder. Amla there dives to his right and stops it well.
  • 28.2 Goes full again, this time the Pakistan skipper drives it straight to the man at mid off.
  • 28.1 Extremely full, aiming the base of off stump, Sarfraz dig it out back down the track.
  • Andile Phehlukwayo is brought back on.
  • 27.6 Flicked away in front of square on the leg side for one run. 101/6
  • 27.5 Malik uses the depth of the crease to go back and tucks it through the square leg area. Single to the total.
  • 27.4 Opens the face of the bat and dabs it square to point for one.
  • 27.3 Lands it outside off and makes it come back in, Ahmed is well forward in defense.

  • 26.1 Targets the top of off stump with a length ball, Sarfraz defends it down from inside the crease.
  • 25.6 Off the mark. The Pakistan captain flicks it through mid-wicket and keeps strike with a run. 93/6
  • 25.5 A bit shorter in length, Sarfraz comes half-forward and pushes it back down to the bowler.
  • 25.4 Turning in on middle and leg, Sarfraz goes on the back foot and nudges it in front of mid-wicket.
  • Sarfraz Ahmed, the skipper is finally out there. He needs to play a captain's knock.
  • 25.3 OUT! Shamsi picks up his second of the innings, inside his third over. This is nicely bowled, very nicely bowled. And sharp work from Klaasen too behind the stumps to finish the job. Looped up around off, on a driving length, draws Hussain Talat forward to play and he quite can't get close enough to the pitch of the ball. It turns away, beats the outside edge and loses his balance a bit. Seeing this, Klaasen takes the bails off in flash. Pakistan slip further.
  • 25.2 Quicker through the air, shorter around off, Talat once more keeps it out off the back foot.
  • 25.1 Spinning away from outside off, slightly shorter in length, punched from the back foot to covers.
  • 24.6 Width on offer outside off, Malik cuts it behind point. Olivier from third man runs to his right and makes a good sliding stop. Keeps the batsmen down to two. 92/5
  • 24.5 Behind a good length, close to off, Malik can only defend it down as he doesn't have much room to work with.
  • 24.4 Shaping back in on middle stump, flicked away in front of square leg for a single.
  • 24.3 The left-hander drives this full delivery back to the bowler who sticks his hands out and makes a half-stop. No run taken.
  • 24.2 Just ahead of a length, Talat meets it with the full face of the bat.
  • 24.1 Loud shout for an lbw, but the umpire isn't interested. Pitched outside leg? Missing leg? Not sure, but pretty certain the batsman would have been safe. Length delivery around leg, catches Talat on the pads as he tries to defend. Replays show it indeed pitched outside the line of leg stump.
  • Dane Paterson is back on.
  • 23.6 Defended off the front foot by the batsman presenting the full face of the bat. 89/5
  • 23.5 Goes dead straight, safest place for the batsman to take some risk. Tossed right up there, Malik comes forward and lofts it back over the bowler's head for a brace.
  • 23.4 The googly, it spins away from a fuller length around off, the batsman pushes it away to covers.
  • 23.3 Bit fuller and straighter from the spinner, it's blocked from inside the crease.
  • 23.2 Sharp turn for Shamsi. If there was a short leg in place, Malik would have been gone. Turning into the batsman, he defends and it goes off the inside half on the leg side.
  • 23.1 Spinning in on middle and leg, Malik goes deep inside the crease and works it down to short fine leg.
  • 22.6 Talat has only played one ball in this over as he leaves this one alone too. Outside off and on a good length, not enough to interest the batsman. 87/5
  • 22.5 Rising off the deck, outside off, no shot offered by the batsman.
  • 22.4 Switches the angle to around the wicket and pitches it short once again, around off. Talat is on his toes as he defends it under his eyeline.
  • 22.3 Good length delivery going away from the batsman, outside off, another leave by the batsman.
  • 22.2 Good carry for Rabada. Bangs it in, on a back of a length, Talat arches back and lets it be.
  • 22.1 Seaming away from around off, on a good length, Talat covers the line and shoulders arms to it.
  • 21.6 The wrong 'un, around leg and spins away, Talat works it off the inner half to square and takes a single. He opens his account in ODI cricket. 87/5
  • 21.5 Tossed up delivery on middle and leg, gently worked down on the leg side by Malik. A quick run taken.
  • Hussain Talat walks out to the middle.
  • 21.4 OUT! Shamsi picks up a wicket in his first over. Strikes instantly, talk about impact. Looped up around off, Shadab gets low and brings out the big slog sweep. It takes the top edge and skies over mid-wicket. Rassie van der Dussen runs in from the deep and takes a good, safe catch by sliding forward. A promising stand of 27 comes to a close.
  • 21.3 Fraction straight in line, worked away on the leg side for no run.
  • 21.2 Spinning into the batsman this time, Malik flicks it through mid-wicket for one.
  • A slip in place now.
  • 21.1 Edged and FOUR! Maybe Faf should have kept the slip in place. Shamsi bowls the wrong one and lands it around off, draws Malik forward to tries to defend and the ball takes the edge. Goes through the vacant slip position and away to the third man fence.
  • Tabraiz Shamsi is back on.
  • 20.6 Beaten! Some late movement for Rabada. Goes fuller around off and makes it go away, Shadab drives away from his body and misses. 80/4
  • 20.5 Shaping away from around off, Shadab dabs it to point with an open face.
  • 20.4 Behind a good length, around off, it's blocked out with the full face.
  • 20.3 The batsman has defended it by getting right behind the line of the delivery.
  • 20.2 Risky shot to play. Short of a length outside off, Shadab, despite a slip in place, looks to run it down to third man for a single. Ends up getting beaten.

  • 19.6 Fuller in length on middle, Khan strokes it to mid on. 79/4
  • 19.5 Full and a little too straight again, Malik flicks it to fine leg and takes a run.
  • 19.4 Fullish and on the pads, Shadab flicks it towards short mid-wicket. He makes a half-stop and a run is taken.
  • 19.3 Angled in on a length and around middle, Shadab tries to keep it out but gets an inside edge onto his pads.
  • 19.2 Good length on off, it has been defended nicely.
  • 19.1 Good length on off, Khan blocks it out.
  • 18.6 Works it around the corner and ends the over with a single. A very good one for Pakistan as 12 comes from it. 77/4
  • 18.5 The batsman has flicked the ball off his pads.
  • 18.4 Back of a length on off, it is kept out.
  • 18.3 FOUR! Clever this from Shadab. 10 from the two balls. Another short one, Shadab lets this one arrive and then upper cuts it over the slip cordon and into the fence.
  • 18.2 SIX! Up and over! He has picked the bones out of that one. Expected the short one, is in position early and pulls it right off the middle and into the mid-wicket stands. Much-needed this!
  • 18.1 The batsman works it down the leg side. They pick up a single.
  • 17.6 Excellent fielding! Short and outside off, Shadab slaps it towards cover. He must have felt there are runs on offer here but Reeza dives to his left and stops it. 65/4
  • 17.5 The batsman defends it from within the crease.
  • 17.4 Full and on the pads, Shadab fails to put it away as the ball hits his pads. Need to put the bad balls away.
  • 17.3 Outside off, Shadab looks to cut but ends up chopping it towards point. Pakistan are just not able to score runs here. They are struggling to even work the singles.
  • 17.2 Full again on middle, Shadab strokes it to mid on.
  • 17.1 Slightly fuller on off, Shadab strokes it towards covers. He wants a run but is sent back.
  • 16.6 On the shorter side, it is pulled through square leg for a run. 65/4
  • 16.5 Hits the length hard around off, it is kept out.
  • 16.4 This is worked with the angle towards mid-wicket for a run.
  • 16.3 This one is guided down to third man and a run is taken.
  • 16.2 The batsman shows the full face of the bat and defends the ball off the back foot.
  • 16.1 Overthrows! On the shorter side, Shadab works it towards mid-wicket. The batters go for a run. The fielder has a needless shy, the bowler fails to collect and another run is taken.

  • 15.5 Fuller on off, Malik strokes it to mid off.

  • 15.1 Back of a length on off, Malik keeps it out.
  • 14.6 Shadab is up and running! Slightly short on off, Shadab does well to get on top of the bounce and then guides it through point for a brace. 60/4
  • 14.5 Back of a length and this one is angled into the batter, Shadab works it towards mid-wicket.
  • 14.4 Back of a length on off, Shadab pushes it to covers.
  • 14.3 Outside off, Khan shoulders arms to it.
  • 14.2 Back of a length on off, Khan gets right on top of the bounce and keeps it out.
  • Drinks! Shadab Khan walks out to the middle.
  • 14.1 OUT! Another short ball gets the better of a Pakistan batsman. This one though is a snorter. We saw Olivier doing this a several times in the Test match and he has done it here too. It is banged in halfway down the pitch, keeps rising on the batsman. A serious effort ball as this one really zipped off this surface which is relatively quite slow. Zaman tries to fend at it but the ball hits the higher portion of the bat and lobs towards point. Miller runs in and takes an easy catch. Pakistan are four down even before the 15th over is completed.
  • 13.6 On the fuller side, Malik times it to mid off. 58/3
  • Shoaib Malik strides out to the middle.
  • 13.5 OUT! Soft, very soft dismissal this and Hafeez, who was looking so good out there is sent back. On a length and it is around the pads, Hafeez tries to flick. Now due to the slowness, he is not able to get it as square as he wants it to. It is also uppish and hence goes straight into the hands of the man at short mid-wicket. Faf du Plessis there takes an easy catch. Pakistan slip further here.
  • 13.4 Back of a length on off, Hafeez pushes it to covers.
  • 13.3 So elegant! On the shorter side, Hafeez just guides it away from the point fielder and towards third man for a couple. Excellent placement that one.
  • 13.2 Shortish and outside off, Zaman cuts but plays it too close to the third man fielder. A run is taken.

  • Andile Phehlukwayo is on now.

Rabada bangs it short and outside off, it is the scrambled seam delivery. It comes slow off the surface. Azam is a touch early into the pull shot. Also, his bat seems to have shaken when it makes contact with the ball. It ends up going high in the air towards deep square leg. Phehlukwayo there runs in and takes a good catch. His second in the game and South Africa right on top here. 37/2
  • 8.5 On off, it is kept out.

  • 7.4 Corrects his line this time and bowls it on off, Zaman blocks it out.
  • 7.3 FOUR! Should not have been a boundary! A poor effort in the field! Short and on the body, Zaman helps it on it way towards fine leg. Shamsi there runs to his left, slides but fails to stop the ball. This is already an expensive over and three balls to go.

  • Babar Azam is the new man in.
  • 4.5 OUT! In the air... taken! Imam has been bounced out! Early strike for South Africa and the guy who played so well in the last game does not contribute a lot in this one. He may not have been expecting a short one as Rabada has already bowled one for the over. Hence, his weight was on the front foot. Rabada though still bowls one, a quick one. It bounces just at the right height. Imam fails to transfer his weight onto the back foot but still goes ahead with the pull. All he manages is a top edge which balloons towards Andile at short mid-wicket. Ideal start for the hosts.

  • Dane Paterson to bowl from the other end.
  • 0.6 A dot to end a very good first over for Pakistan. Full and around off, Imam looks to drive but ends up playing outside the line, he gets an inside edge onto his pads. 7/0
  • 0.5 Now follows the boundary up with a single towards mid on.
  • 0.4 FOUR! Exquisite! What a way to get off the mark. Full and on off, Zaman shows the full face of the bat and just strokes it past the bowler and into the fence. First boundary of the game.
  • 0.3 Imam is off the mark now! Fuller in length and on off, Imam strokes to the right of mid off and gets to the other end.
  • 0.2 Better from Imam. He though might have left this one due to the length. It is slightly short and outside off.
  • 0.1 A play and a miss! This is bowled full and wide outside off, Imam goes after it away from his body but gets beaten. Too early to play an expansive drive.

South Africa Vs Pakistan Live Score (ODI) Ball by Ball Commentary

  • So that is it from this game. The South Africans have bounced back and levelled the series. There are still another 3 games to play with the next one taking place on the 25th of January 0100 local (1100 GMT). Till then, take care and goodbye.
  • South African skipper, Faf du Plessis, says it was the perfect opportunity for two youngsters to learn a lot and they rose to the occasion. Mentions the wicket was not the best as it was two paced. Credits the way Hasan Ali played. Also appreciates how Phehlukwayo and van der Dusen played. Reckons he has all the skills to be a top level player and that is exactly what they are looking for. He hopes for a pacey wicket in the next game. Further adds Dale who was rested in the next game might be back.
  • Man of the Match, Andile Phehlukwayo, says the wicket had something in it and he tried to hit the right lines and lengths. Mentions he was nervous to begin with when he came out to bat but Rassie calmed him down. Further adds he then stuck to his plans and it all came out well. Ends by saying he enjoyed the battle with Shadab.
  • Pakistan skipper, Sarfraz Ahmed, says they did not get a good start as they gave away too many soft wickets. Mentions Hasan Ali's knock gave them some hope. Admits they had a chance when South Africa were 80 for 5 but they failed to capitalize. Credits the way Phehlukwayo and van der Dussen played.
  • Some things to work on, while some to be excited about for the hosts. Their bowling did well on the whole, with Phehlukwayo and Shamsi leading the charge, but they would have been disappointed having let Pakistan get even remotely close to 200, as they were 112/8 at one stage. Most of the batting line-up once again failed to turn up, but it seems they've found a gem in Rassie van der Dussen who can fill the big void in the South African middle order. It was a close contest, right up till the point the Protea pair took things in their stride and saw the game off with ease.
  • This is what happens when the bowling has assistance on a surface. This was a low-scoring affair, but every bit as entertaining as any high-chase thriller. Pakistan must have had mixed feelings throughout this one. A bittersweet feeling when they reached 203, but it could have been a lot less had it not been for Sarfraz and Hasan Ali's (who scored a brisk fifty) 90-run stand. And when they had the Proteas on the mat, 80/5 to be precise, courtesy a fiery opening spell from Afridi, they failed to capitalize as van der Dussen and Phehlukwayo took their side comfortably home. The duo added 127 runs between them, scoring fifties in the process.
  • 41.6 FOUR! Yes, it does! Finishes it off in style does Rassie van der Dussen. He pumps his fist in delight after he pulls this short ball to the mid-wicket fence. All smiles in the South African camp as THEY WIN BY 5 WICKETS AND LEVEL THE SERIES 1-1!

  • Powerplay 3 has been signaled! Now five players can be placed outside the ring till the 50th over. However, we do not think the game will last till then. Also, Shadab comes back into the attack.
  • 39.6 Cut away square again, past the fielder this time, for a single. 192/5

Also, this one is a crucial one as it has come when his team really needed him to be out there. He has soaked in all the pressure and played a knock of huge character.
