That's all from the first game of the season! What a thriller we have had and Bangalore start off the new season with a win while the defending champions lose their first game of a new season again. On Saturday, 10th April 2021, we have Chennai going up against Delhi in Mumbai. That match will begin at 1930 IST (1400 GMT). But, the build-up will begin much earlier. Do join us then. Cheers and take care.

Harshal Patel says that when they bought him, they told him that he will be an important part of the team and he is happy that they have showed faith in him. Tells that he was looking at executing his plans and it special to get a first 5-fer in T20s and especially, getting one against Mumbai. Adds that he wanted to get better at bowling yorkers as he is a good length bowler and he was working hard on bowling the yorker for the last couple of years.

Virat Kohli, the Indian skipper, says that they won their first game in 2020. Adds that they have got off to a good start. States that winning by 2 wickets means that almost everyone got game time. Says that pitch was looking decent in the first half and he hoped that dew might help but as the ball got older, it became slow and the partnership between himself and Maxwell was important. Tells that this was not a pitch where you can hit across the line. Says that they need to find ways to win. Tells that the shot Pollard got out to, would have been a six at Wankhede. Tells that the last 6 overs at the death with the ball is probably the best they have had with Harshal Patel bowling beautifully. States that Patel is going to be their designated death over bowler. States that Siraj bowled very well, Jamieson got off to a good start and even Chahal did well after his first couple of overs. Tells that this was Harshal's day. States that they wanted Maxwell to bat at no. 4 and Rajat is a good player and he is one player to watch out for. Says that if they lose wickets, it gives Maxwell time to play himself in and if he had stayed in, the game might have finished a couple of overs earlier. Says that AB came into the game as well and played really well. Goes onto say, AB is the only player in their team who is so versatile and can play many shots and they need experience at the back as well. Goes onto say that if they get off a good start, they will see a different mode of Maxwell and de Villiers.

AB de Villiers is there for a chat. He says that it was an incredible game of cricket which is always the case against Mumbai. Tells he knew it was going to be a tough pitch to play cricket and he was aware about it. Tells Mumbai has a fantastic bowling line-up and they knew it. Jokes he did that run in the treadmill but that was not the case. AB feels that it was an easy two but Krunal got the throw spot on. De Villiers says playing against Maxwell is a pleasure. Tells he loves his energy on the field. AB says that Mumbai are champions and tells there is a lot of aura around them. Tells that it was a big challenge for them to go against them and play. Tells they will not get too excited as they defeated Mumbai in the first game last year as well but tells this win is a morale booster.

Rohit Sharma, the Mumbai skipper, says that the most important is to win the championship. Rohit says it was a great fight and they did not let it go easily. Rohit feels they were 20 runs short. Rohit admits they made some mistakes but adds they are bound to happen and need to bounce back. Tells Jansen is a talent they have identified. Adds they needed wickets and hence they bowled Bumrah and Boult back-to-back. Rohit says the pitch was on the slower side and tells that is something they can think of and identify. Credits de Villiers for the innings he played. Rohit feels that in hindsight they can say so. Tells there are few new faces and many players are coming after playing international cricket. Tells they have not had time which is completely opposite of what happened 5 months back in UAE. Adds that it is how this tournament is played and they need to fight back. Rohit feels that neutral venues can be difficult especially for teams with a great team record. But adds the challenge of this sport is to go away and perform. Adds that they are lucky to get on the field and play and put smiles on the face of people in India.

Stay tuned for the presentation ceremony!!!

Earlier, in the day, Mumbai posted 159 on the board but they should have got a lot more than that. They lost 6 wickets for 31 runs in the last 5 overs which restricted them. Chris Lynn and Suryakumar Yadav got starts but could not make it count while for Bangalore, Harshal Patel was the star of the show as his 5-fer was the main reason that Bangalore restricted Mumbai to 159. Eventually, a match which Bangalore should have won easily, got home on the last ball.

Credit to Mumbai though! They never gave up and hats off to them for that. At one stage, they were looking down and out but they held in there. Bumrah was excellent, he got the big wicket of Kohli and that opened the door for them. Rahul Chahar was expensive while Krunal Pandya and Trent Boult did a decent job. Marco Jansen, playing his first game in the Indian T20 League bowled a very good final over but it was not to be as Bangalore clinched the game on the last ball.

Bangalore must have had their hearts in their mouth! They were cruising for most of their run chase but like most times, they give their fans some nerves before taking the game. But in the end, all's well that ends well. Bangalore started off well with Kohli starting off in a fine manner. His opening partner, Sundar though struggled before he fell. Patidar did not do much on his debut but Maxwell came out and played some fine shots. Kohli gave him some good company but Kohli's wicket opened the floodgates and they lost Maxwell and Shahbaz quickly. De Villiers took the matters into his own hands and got them close before he got run out before Harshal Patel kept his cool and took the game for Bangalore.

What a thriller we have had and it is Bangalore who take the honours in the first game of the tournament. This is just the first game and we have had such a game already. Could we have asked for anything more? I don't think so. A superb match and Bangalore are on the right side of it. It turned and turned but Bangalore have done it. Virat Kohli is happy and he will be relieved. Mumbai, on the other hand, continue to lose their season opener. The last time they won was in 2012.

19.6

Harshal Patel! The man with the ball and he has held his nerves and gets the run to take his side over the line. Very full on middle and leg, Harshal Patel manages to flick it to the left of short fine leg. Bumrah dives and stops the ball but cannot save the run. Take a bow, Harshal Patel! You beauty! BANGALORE WIN BY 2 WICKETS! 160/8

The bowler, Hardik Pandya and Rohit Sharma are in the middle of a conference.

19.5

SCORES LEVEL! 1 run needed off the final ball now. On the pads, Siraj looks to flick but misses. It hits his pad and goes behind the stump. Ishan Kishan has a lot of ground to cover and Harshal manages to make it count and get the single.

Mohammed Siraj comes out to bat.

19.4

OUT! RUN OUT! AB de Villiers is short of his crease. The run around from one side to another has seen AB eat some time and that fraction of seconds has seen him depart here. Length ball on off, AB de Villiers hits it away from Krunal and long on. He takes the run and then does a whole circle to come for the second. Krunal sends a decent throw at the keeper's end. Ishan Kishan takes a brilliant take and quickly disturbs the stumps. AB de Villiers puts a dive but it is not good enough.  He is short of his crease, he knows it, Ishan knows and the replays confirm it. 2 needed off 2 balls.  Super Over anyone?

An appeal for run out taken upstairs! What is happening? AB de Villiers knows that he is a goner and he is. What a match we are having and this is just the first game of the tournament.

19.3

Harshal gets the single. 3 needed in 3 balls now and more importantly. AB de Villiers is on strike. Low full toss on the stumps, Harshal manages to hit towards mid off and takes a single.

19.2

In the air and away! Two taken and 4 needed off 4 balls now. Full around off, Harshal lofts it over mid off and gets a couple.

19.1

Single off the first ball of the final over. The hero of the last over in the first innings with the ball, Harshal Patel will have strike now.

Marco Jansen will bowl the final over. Can he defend 7 from the final over?

18.6

Low full toss on off, AB de Villiers manages to hit to sweeper cover and keep the strike. 7 needed off the last over for Bangalore to win. Anything less than 6, Mumbai take it. 6 and we start the tournament with a Super Over. Do not discount that possibility out folks. 153/7

Harshal Patel makes his way out to the middle.

18.5

OUT! RUN OUT! Very good work from Bumrah! Low full toss on off, Jamieson hits it straight back towards Bumrah. He gets his right leg to it. The ball goes behind but not too far. AB de Viliiers calls for a run. Jamieson keeps his head down and goes for it. Bumrah quickly gets to the ball and scores an underarm direct hit at the stumps. Was this single needed? This is the last ball off the over. Maybe de Villiers was better staying at the other end and taking on the final over. This game is still in the balance. First game of the tournament and we might be running out of nails already.

18.4

Yorker! Superb from Bumrah. De Villiers manages to jam it to the on side for a single. 8 needed in 8 balls now.

18.3

FOUR! This is genius at work!  Tremendous from AB de Villiers. He sensed a short ball around off. AB was ready for it. He waits for it and then manages to get it over short third man for a boundary. Bumrah is being outdone here by another freak of a genius.

18.2

Good running! Fullish on middle, AB de Villiers hits it away from Pollard at long on. The Protea calls for two straightaway and the tall Kiwi obliges. 13 needed off 10 balls now.

18.1

FOUR! WHAT A SHOT! AB you beauty! Not many, in fact hardly any player can do that to Bumrah but de Villiers is out of this world. A yorker from Bumrah but de Villiers manages to take it as a full toss and hit it over extra cover for a boundary.

17.6

Single to end the over. 15 off the over. Spoils the good work done by Bumrah in the previous over a bit. Back of a length ball on off, AB knocks it to long on and keeps the strike. 19 needed off the final 2 overs now. 141/6

17.5

Length ball on off, AB clears his front leg and hits it to the right of long off. They look for two and get it with ease. This is turning out to be a very good over for Bangalore.

17.4

FOUR! Slammed straight down the ground! Fullish on middle and off, AB de Villiers clears his front leg and smacks it straight as an arrow. Long on and long off come in but the ball dissects them and races to the fence like a bullet.

17.3

On middle, Jamieson plays it behind square leg. He calls for a run and they get it. They think about the second. Jamieson is not sure and in the end they stay content with one.

17.2

Back of a length delivery outside off, de Villiers slaps it over backward point this time. There is protection in the deep so just a run.

17.1

SIX! SMACKED! AB de Villiers stays deep inside his crease, picks the length early and flat-bats it over long off for a biggie. He is called Superman for a reason.

Trent Boult is back on.

16.6

Length delivery on off, AB de Villiers strokes it to long off and keeps the strike. Another magnificent over from Bumrah. Just 5 runs and a wicket as well off it. 126/6

16.5

Double team from Jansen and Boult have seemed to have save a boundary here. Good length ball on off, Jamieson clears his front leg and swings. He gets an inside edge that goes to the right of fine leg. Jansen uses his tall, lanky frame and puts a dive. He deflects it towards Boult who charges in from third man. The Kiwi then puts a dive to keep it inside the rope. The double team of a Kiwi and a Protea saves a run for Mumbai.

16.4

Length ball on middle, Jamieson knocks it to mid-wicket.

Kyle Jamieson is the next man in.

16.3

OUT! CAUGHT! Dan Christian departs and Bumrah does what he does best. Come, give his skipper, the vital breakthroughs, and win the clutch situations. This was not Bumrah's best delivery. In fact it was a ball to be put away. Short and wide outside off. Generally, an Aussie will smack it to the fence. Christian cuts it with power but finds Rahul Chahar to perfection at backward point. A few inches either side of the fielder and that would have been a boundary.

16.2

Bumrah special for Christian. A yorker which hard to get off. It is outside off, Christian for all his experience can only play it back to the bowler.

16.1

Good start from Bumrah to his third over. He bowls a dipping low full toss on the stumps. Not easy to get it away. AB can just get it to long off for one.

Strategic Time-Out! 39 needed in 24 balls for Bangalore. It was going easy for them when Kohli and Maxwell were going strong at the crease but Kohli's wicket changed the game as they lost Maxwell and Shahbaz in quick succession. AB de Villiers is till out there and a lot rides on him if Bangalore have to get over the line. Christian can hit a long ball too. Mumbai will believe that if they can get AB out quickly, they are on top. We are in for an exciting last 4 overs. Jasprit Bumrah will bowl the 17th over. 2-0-9-1 are his figures so far.

15.6

De Villiers now uses his feet and gets to the pitch of the ball. He turns it to the on side and looks for two but the Mumbai fielder is quick to get to the ball and Christian is quick to squash the thoughts of the second. 121/5

15.5

Short outside off, AB de Villiers punches it away from sweeper cover and gets a couple.

15.4

Sweep from Christain to start his innings. Flighted on off, Dan Christian sweeps it to deep square leg for a run.

15.3

Wrong 'un now. It has spun and bounced as well. Floated on leg, AB de Villiers looks to paddle but looks to have missed. The ball bounces and hits the grill of Ishan Kishan and then deflects behind square leg. They take a run and it has been awarded as a run.

15.2

SIX! SMOKED! AB de Villiers, can he be the savior once again for Bangalore?  A boundary is followed by a maximum and this does a world of good for Bangalore. Flighted around off, AB de Villiers decides to go downtown and smokes it over long off for a biggie.

15.1

FOUR! What a shot! A much-needed one for Bangalore. Short on off, de Villiers smacks it with the spin through covers for a boundary.

Dan Christian walks out to bat now.

14.6

OUT! CAUGHT! What an over this has been! Two wickets and not many runs from it! Short ball around middle, Ahmed pulls it but has it got the distance on it? No, it has not as it goes straight into the hands of Krunal Pandya at deep square leg. 54 needed in 30 balls. A lot depends on AB de Villiers now. 106/5

14.5

EDGED BUT SAFE! Good length ball outside off, de Villiers looks to drive but gets an outside edge towards third man for a single.

14.4

Excellent delivery! Yorker on middle, de Villiers digs it out to mid-wicket.

14.3

Good ball from Jansen! Fullish ball on off, angling in, de Villiers looks to drive but gets an inside edge back to the bowler.

14.2

On the pads, Ahmed flicks it to fine leg for a single.

14.2

WIDE! Full ball down the leg side, Ahmed looks to flick but misses. Wide signalled.

Who will walk out to bat now? It looked like Bangalore were cruising but no situation is a safe situation unless you have crossed the line against Mumbai. Shahbaz Ahmed replaces the Big Show out in the middle.

14.1

OUT! CAUGHT AT SHORT FINE LEG! Maxwell goes and Mumbai are back in it big time! They got Kohli couple of overs back and now have got Maxwell. Marco Jansen gets his first wicket in the Indian T20 League. Short ball around the pads, Maxwell swivels and looks to pull but does not get the timing on it. Lynn dives forward and takes a very good catch.

Change in bowling. Marco Jansen is back on. 0/19 from the 2 overs so far for the debutant.

13.6

Flatter ball outside off, Maxwell punches it to deep cover for a single. 103/3

13.5

Flatter ball on off, Glenn pushes it to cover. No run.

13.4

Flatter ball outside off, de Villiers punches it to cover where Pollard makes a half stop and the batters take a single.

13.3

Short ball on middle, Maxwell pulls it to deep mid-wicket for a single.

13.2

Floated on off, de Villiers pushes it to deep cover for a single.

13.1

Tossed up on off, AB de Villiers defends it to point.

Rahul Chahar continues.

12.6

Very full on middle, Maxwell digs it out to mid-wicket. 61 needed in 42 balls. 99/3

12.5

De Villiers is off the mark! Good length ball on the pads, de Villiers works it to fine leg and crosses over for a run.

12.4

Good shot for nothing! Length ball outside off, de Villiers drives it to cover.

Will it be AB de Villiers now who will replace his skipper out in the middle or is there another surprise on the card from this Bangalore side? No surprise, as it will be AB de Villiers!

12.3

OUT! LBW! Rohit Sharma brings back Jasprit Bumrah in order to bring a wicket and he provides it in the form of Kohli. He loves playing against the Bangalore skipper and he gets him again. Good length ball on middle, Kohli shuffles across and then looks to flick but misses and gets hit on the pads. Bumrah appeals and up goes the finger. Kohli consults with Maxwell whether to take the review but decides against it. Can Mumbai make a comeback in this game?

12.2

Good length ball on middle, Maxwell works it to deep square leg for a single.

12.1

Good length ball outside off, Maxwell plays it wide of the point fielder and picks up a couple.

Change in bowling. Rohit Sharma knows he needs to break this stand now and in search of that, he has brought in his strike bowler, Jasprit Bumrah. This will be a test for Maxwell. Can this pair see off this over from Boom?

11.6

Short on middle, Maxwell pulls it to the deep mid-wicket region for a single. 95/2

11.5

Flatter ball outside off, Kohli punches it through point for a single.

11.4

Short ball outside off, it spun away. Kohli looks to pull but misses.

11.3

Falls safely! Virat is very lucky here! Chahar gives this some air and bowls a loopy ball outside off, Kohli uses his feet and looks to swing it away. It goes off the leading edge and towards deep extra cover. Two fielders converge but it lands in between them.

11.2

Floated on off, Maxwell drives it to long off for a single.

11.1

SIX! This is outrageous! Wow factor! Tossed up outside off, Maxwell adjusts and reverse sweeps it over deep cover for a maximum. Terrific.

Change in bowling. Rahul Chahar is back. He was expensive in his first. Can he make a comeback?

10.6

Flatter ball on middle, Maxwell works it to deep mid-wicket for a single. 84/2

10.5

Flatter ball outside off, Kohli uses his feet and then thrashes it wide of long off for a single.

10.4

Tossed up on middle, Virat plays it back to the bowler.

10.3

Quicker ball on off, Kohli guides it to short third man.

10.2

Flatter ball outside off, punched to deep cover for a single.

10.1

SIX! Maxwell did not a single season in the last season but he has got one here! That went many a mile. Brilliant from Maxwell! Tossed up on middle, Maxwell uses his feet and then lifts it over deep mid-wicket for a biggie. Even Virat Kohli cannot believe it.

9.6

Single to end the over. Bangalore at the halfway stage are 75/2! Length ball on middle, Maxi knocks it to the leg side and keeps the strike. 75/2

9.6

WIDE! Too far outside off yet again. They are looking to make Maxwell stretch out for it but Jansen is struggling to keep it inside the tramline. Maxi swings but to no avail. Wided again.

9.5

Good stop from Suryakumar Yadav! Length ball wide outside off, Maxwell hits it to the right of cover-point. Surya there dives and saves runs for his side.

9.5

WIDE! Lucky escape for Jansen! He goes full and well wide outside off. Flirts with the tramline there. Maxwell swings but misses. Umpire stretches his arms to signal it as wide.

9.4

Bangalore are happy to trudge along at the moment. Length ball around off, Kohli runs it down to third man and gets to the other end.

9.3

Good length delivery wide outside off. Maxwell cuts it to deep point and rotates.

9.2

Bouncer from Jansen! Makes his tall, lanky frame count. Kohli though is quick to pull it all along the ground in a controlled manner to deep mid-wicket for one.

9.1

Jansen hits the deck hard around off. Kohli taps it to cover. Thinks of a run but quickly decides against it.

Strategic Time-Out! Bangalore are off to a good start to their run chase here! Yes, they have lost a couple of wickets but they have plenty of batting left. Kohli is looking good while Maxwell has got off to a start. They still have AB de Villiers and Dan Christian in the dug-out waiting. So, this should be chased down by Bangalore but T20 is a funny game and anything can happen. Mumbai need to break this stand and hope to take a few quick wickets if they want to stand a chance in this game. Marco Jansen is back on.

8.6

FOUR! Excellent shot from Maxi! He has started off well in the colors of Bangalore after struggling for Punjab last season. Krunal goes fuller this time just outside off. Maxwell shows his talent and lofts it over extra cover with minimum of fuss and finishes the over with a boundary. 69/2

8.5

Slightly quicker and flatter on middle. Kohli gets on his back foot and knocks it off the inner half of his bat towards mid-wicket for one.

8.4

Shorter on off, Maxwell punches it to cover and gets a single.

8.3

This one turns back in sharply. Little bit of drift from Krunal. It is on middle, Maxwell gets on his back foot and manages to get little wood on it.

8.2

Flat and short just outside off. Maxwell punches it but finds cover.

8.1

Flat on middle, Maxwell blocks it.

7.6

Loopy ball outside off, Maxwell drives it to long off for a single. 63/2

7.5

FOUR! Magical! Maxwell is off to a start here! Tossed up on off, Maxwell lifts it over extra cover for a boundary.

7.4

Shortish on the pads, Maxwell looks to flick but misses and gets hit on the pads.

7.3

Good running here! Flatter ball outside off, Kohli waits for it and then guides it to the third man region. Hardik Pandya chases after it, collects and relays the throw to Sharma. The skipper then throws the ball back to the bowler but three has been taken.

7.2

Flatter on on off, Maxwell works it down to long on for a single.

Rahul Chahar is into the attack.

7.1

FOUR! Wow, that is some way to welcome a new bowler! Tossed up on middle, Maxwell goes on his knees and then reverse sweeps it over short third man for a boundary.

6.6

Maxwell gets off the mark and gets his first run for his new franchise. Flighted on off, Maxi milks it to sweeper cover and keeps the strike, 50/2

6.5

Short on off, Kohli whips it to mid-wicket and gets a single.

6.4

Tossed up on off, VK pushes it to cover.

6.3

On the pads, Kohli turns it fine down the leg side and gets a couple.

6.2

0Floated on off, Kohli keeps it out.

6.1

Poor throw and Kohli has survived. He should thank his stars as a decent throw, would have seen Kohli go back to the pavilion. Cannot blame Maxwell as there was no run there. It was suicidal to say the least. Flatter delivery on off, Kohli taps it towards cover and calls for a run. Maxwell quickly turns him down but his skipper is well forward. The fielder charges to the ball and send s a flat, low throw away from Ishan Kishan. The keeper cannot collect it and Kohli gets ample time to get back. That would have been disastrous to say the least for Bangalore but fortunately their skipper is still out in the middle.

5.6

Length ball on off, Maxwell keeps it out. 46/2

Glenn Maxwell is the next man out in the middle.

5.5

OUT! CHOPPED ON! Boult strikes in Powerplay once again. A sight way too common in world cricket. He continues his habit of picking up wickets in the first 6 overs of a T20 game.  Rajat Patidar, looked promising in his short stay at the crease but unfortunately, it is a short stay. Knuckle ball bowled on a length outside off. Patidar looks to defend it with a horizontal bat to the off side. It is too close to him and there is a lack of pace as well. The ball takes the inside edge to uproot the off stump. Mumbai are not out of this game at all. They have a knack for stealing wins from the jaws of defeat and Bangalore have the bad habit of throwing away games.

5.4

Length ball on middle, Patidar tucks it to the on side.

5.4

Boult misses line and bowls a short one down the leg side. Patidar leaves it alone.

5.3

Good length ball on off, Patidar defends it to the off side.

5.2

Typical pace bowlers response! After being hit for a boundary, Boult bangs it short outside off. Patidar thinks of pulling but retracts.

5.1

FOUR! Deft from Patidar! Delightful! Gets his first boundary in this league and this will do the world of good to his confidence. Good length ball outside off, Patidar waits for it and then places it fine towards third man for a boundary.

Trent Boult is back into the attack. 2-0-16-0 are his figures so far.

4.6

Full on middle, Patidar flicks it to deep mid-wicket and will keep the strike for the next over with a single. 41/1

4.5

Flatter ball on middle, Patidar works it wide of the mid on fielder for a couple of runs.

4.4

Tossed up on off, Kohli defends it to point and takes a quick run.

4.3

Patidar is off the mark in the Indian T20 League! Floated on middle, Patidar works it to mid on for a single.

Who will come in at number 3? It will be debutant, Rajat Patidar.

4.2

OUT! CAUGHT AT SHORT THIRD MAN! Sundar was struggling at the crease. He was trying to hit the ball too hard and he perishes in the process. Shortish ball around off, Sundar looks to pull but the ball comes quicker to him. It takes the top edge and goes towards short third man where Chris Lynn takes the simplest of catches. 124 needed in 94 balls.

4.1

Tossed up on the pads, Kohli flicks it to square leg for a single.

Change in bowling. Spin into the attack for the first time in this innings and it sees Krunal Pandya come into action.

3.6

Good length ball outside off, Sundar punches it through the cover region for a couple. 35/0

3.5

Full ball on off, Kohli pushes it to deep cover for a single.

3.4

FOUR! Well played! Bangalore are off to a very good start in the run chase! Short of a length down the leg side, Kohli swivels and then plays it over short fine leg for a boundary.

3.4

Short ball around off, Sundar shuffles across and then pulls it over mid-wicket and a single is taken. Wait a minute, Janse has overstepped and a Free-Hit will follow.

3.3

Short of a length ball around off, Sundar gives himself room and looks to cut but fails to get any bat on it.

3.2

Good length ball on the pads, Kohli looks to flick but gets hit on the pads. A leg bye taken as the ball goes to the leg side.

3.1

FOUR! Welcome to the Indian T20 League, Marco Jansen! Jansen starts with a short ball around middle, it does not rise as high enough. Kohli rocks back and then pulls it through square leg for a boundary.

2.6

Full ball on middle, Sundar drives it to mid off. 21/0

2.5

BEATEN! Nicely bowled by Boult! He bowls an outswinger outside off, Sundar looks to drive but fails to get any bat on it.

2.4

Back of a length ball on the pads, Kohli flicks it to fine leg for a single.

2.3

Full on off, Kohli drives it to mid off.

2.2

FOUR! What a shot that is from Virat Kohli! Stunning shot! Full ball outside off, Kohli crack it through extra cover for a boundary.

2.1

Quick single! Length ball on off, Sundar looks to defend but gets a bottom edge which goes to the off side. Kohli calls Sundar for the single and they make it easily. Good running.

1.6

Full ball on off, Kohli pushes it to mid off. 15/0

1.5

Quick run! Good length ball on the pads, Sundar plays it to mid on and takes a quick run. Marco Jansen has a shy at the bowler's end but misses.

1.4

Back of a length ball outside off, Sundar cuts it through the point region. It is not timed perfectly but still has enough to get two.

1.3

Good length ball on the pads, Sundar looks to flick but misses and gets hit on the pads. There is a mild appeal for LBW but the umpire is not interested.

1.2

On a length on off, Sundar defends it out to the off side.

1.1

Just wide of the mid-wicket fielder! Full ball on middle, Sundar flicks it uppishly but it is wide of the fielder at mid-wicket. A couple taken.
