Right then, this Test series is interestingly poised now. India landed a heavy punch at Lord's but England have responded with an innings victory. One thing is for sure though, the momentum is not going to stay in one corner, it will keep oscillating. How will India respond to this big loss? Do join us for the 4th Test starting on 2nd September at The Oval to find out. The action will begin at 11 am local (10 am GMT) but you can join us in advance for the build-up. Cheers!

Ollie Robinson is chosen for the Man of the Match award! He says that it is very special and he has dreamt about this as a kid. Adds that he enjoyed bowling here and used the conditions well and getting a 5-fer in an England victory is special. Mentions that it is an honour to play with Anderson and he keeps learning from Jimmy. Tells that it was nice to get Kohli's wicket as he also hit him for a couple of boundaries in the over. Further adds that the plan was the same to Kohli, to bowl in the channel outside off, get it to nip away, and hope that he nicks one. Shares that he feels fine and it was good to get a break between the second and third Test.

The captain of England, Joe Root, says that it was a clinical performance from their bowlers and they put pressure early on and from the outset, they had a good opportunity to step up and they did that well. Adds that they knew they were capable of putting in displays like this and they just need consistency and lauds his openers for their stand in the first innings. Feels that they hung in there and managed to get results with the second new ball on Day 4. On Anderson, Root says that he sets a wonderful example for the rest of the bowling group, and to consistently perform as he does, is wonderful. On Malan, Joe tells that he played beautifully, and once he got going, he looked fluent and it is great to see him play well. Says that as a batter, you should be ready to come out and score runs whenever needed. Shares that it is special to get a hundred in his home ground and hopes that he carries the same forward. On Robinson, Root replies that he has been exceptional and hopes that his form continues for longer. Opines that Curran is a talented player even though he has not performed at his best in this series. Adds that Curran had an impact late in the first innings too, with the ball. On Buttler's availability for the last two Tests, due to paternity leave, Root says that they will find out in the next couple of days. On the crowd, he says that he always gets a wonderful reception and thanks all the fans for their support.

Virat Kohli, the Indian skipper, says that it was basically down to scoreboard pressure and they were always up against it after getting all out for 78. Adds that they knew it would be hard but opines that they did well on Day 3 and they got a couple of crucial partnerships which set them up, but the pressure from the English pacers troubled them on Day 4. On the first innings, he says that it was bizarre as the pitch was good for batting as demonstrated by the English openers later on. Tells that the pressure was relentless and he feels that it's a combination of bad decision-making from the batters and a quality bowling display from England. Laughs and says that he does not have any regrets with the toss and feels that their batters need to make better decisions and they were just not on the money in this game. On India's batting depth, Kohli replies that the top order has to do enough to give the lower order something to step up. Adds that as a batting group, they need to stay confident and they do not want their lower order to bail them out of a tough spot every time. Tells that they need to assess the surface and also the forecast before deciding on the XI in the next game but at the same time emphasizes that the template to play with 4 fast bowlers is working. Shares that they are confident and they have bounced back many times in the past and they take a lot of pride in trying to correct their errors.

Stay tuned for the presentation...

You don't win many Test matches after getting bundled out in the first two sessions of a Test match. India suffered that fate on Day 1 and to compound their misery, the misfiring English top order chose to return to form. Haseeb Hameed and Rory Burns shut the doors on India by forming a century stand and after that Dawid Malan and Joe Root extended the English dominance. The Indian bowling was blunted successfully and once the hosts gained a 354-run lead, the writing was on the wall for India.

India fought bravely on Day 3. Rohit Sharma, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli put their hands up and reignited hope in the Indian camp. The big deficit was narrowed down to 139 with 8 wickets in hand and all the eyes were on Pujara and Kohli this morning. England had the advantage to operate with the second new ball and the pair of Ollie Robinson and James Anderson ran amok. 8 wickets went down in one session (7 in the span of 54 minutes) and India's misery with the bat was exposed once again in this Test match.

England have stormed back into this Test series. They have levelled it 1-1 and that sets up for a brilliant last two games. The English players are celebrating on the ground, jumping in joy and the crowd is loving every bit of it. After the high of the Lord's Test, India's flight has come down crashing. Cricket is a great leveller.

99.3

OUT! EDGED AND CAUGHT! It is all done! There is the game. It has not taken long for England in the morning session on Day 4 to wrap the game up. Brilliant work from England and Overton finishes proceedings. Craig Overton bowls this one on a length, closer to the off pole, it lands and shapes away. Mohammed Siraj looks to block but the outside edge is induced. Jonny Bairstow, at second slip, dives to his right and pouches this. ENGLAND WIN BY AN INNINGS AND 76 RUNS AND LEVEL THE SERIES 1-1! 278/10

99.2

Overton slips this down the leg side, Siraj tries to flick but misses.

Mohammed Siraj is the last batsman for India.

99.1

OUT! EDGED AND CAUGHT! Overton joins the party now! Brilliant work from him and another Indian batter takes a sad, long walk back to the shed. Jadeja walks back and there goes India's last shot at avoiding an innings defeat. On a length by Overton, landing closer to off and then leaving the batter. Ravindra Jadeja looks to defend but that proves to be his undoing, as the outside edge is caught. Another catch that Jos Buttler is not going to drop. England are one more wicket away from levelling the series.

98.6

Flighted on off, Bumrah looks to defend, but the ball catches the outside edge and runs away wide of first slip. He wants one but Jadeja, rightfully, sends him back. 278/8

98.5

A touch short of fuller length, around off, Bumrah dabs it back onto the deck.

98.4

Tossed up, outside off, this is jammed out to the off side.

98.3

Short again, width offered outside off, slapped to sweeper cover for one. Hands the strike back to Bumrah.

98.2

Short, on off, tapped to the point region.

98.1

Loopy, landing full on off, spins in, Bumrah gets low and slog-sweeps it to deep mid-wicket for a run.

97.6

FOUR! Third in a row! Craig Overton comes 'round the wicket and hurls a shortish ball, offering width outside off, Jadeja again waits for the ball to arrive and then just dabs it past the diving gully fielder. India are behind by 78, whereas, England need 2 more wickets. 276/8

97.5

FOUR! Another good shot. Placed it nicely this time. Slightly short, outside off, angling away, he waits for the ball to come to him and just pushes this one past the gully fielder. Jadeja wants to save India at least from the embarrassment of an innings defeat. Can he do it?

97.4

FOUR! That's played nicely. Jadeja is getting some boundaries here, but it does not look like it will make any substantial difference. Overpitched this time, on off, Jadeja punches this with hard hands through the mid off region.

97.3

Around off, fuller, pushed to the cover region.

97.2

An action replay of the previous delivery.

Craig Overton is into the attack as Robinson gets a breather.

97.1

Slants a length delivery across the southpaw, an easy leave for Jadeja.

96.6

Moeen tosses this one too, lands it around off, the ball hits the deck and spins in as Bumrah presses forward. The ball takes the inside edge, but hits Bumrah on his pad and falls safely on the deck. 264/8

96.5

A single as this is tucked to the mid-wicket region.

96.4

SIX! Jadeja is not going to hang around. He will try to get some quick runs and apply some pressure on the English bowlers. This is bowled fuller again, around middle and spinning away, Ravindra Jadeja jumps out. Thwacks this one over the bowler for a biggie.

96.3

Tosses up again, full around off, Ravindra Jadeja prods ahead and smothers the ball out.

96.2

Floated, fuller and around off, Jadeja presses forward and defends it out.

96.1

Shortish, on the pads, Ravindra Jadeja nudges this one to the leg side. Finds backward square leg.

95.6

Length-ball around off, this is kept out nicely by Bumrah as he strides forward. Another top over by Robinson! 257/8

Jasprit Bumrah is the new batsman.

95.5

OUT! EDGED AND CAUGHT! Wicket number 5 for Robinson and he is on fire! The Indian batters just keep following each other back to the shed. None of them are showing any sort of resistance. Ollie serves this on a length, closer to the off pole, makes Ishant have a poke at this, but the ball holds its line after landing. Kisses the outside edge and Jos Buttler has an easy catch. We are nearing the curtains on this game. Just 2 more wickets away, are the Three Lions!

95.4

Short-of-a-length delivery, banged on middle, RJ hops and tucks this to fine leg for a run.

95.3

Pitched up, outside off, Ravindra Jadeja keeps his wits about himself and lets the ball through.

95.2

Around off, length ball, this is nudged to the fielder at square leg.

95.1

Lands it on a good length around off, Jadeja sticks on the back foot and defends it down on the surface.

94.6

Spinning back in from around off, Sharma stays back again and defends it down on the leg side, wide of short leg. 256/7

94.5

A touch flatter this time, around off, Ishant goes back and defends it down to the off side.

94.4

Fuller and around off, Sharma drives it through covers for a couple of runs.

94.3

Flighted delivery, pitching full and close to off, Sharma is on the front foot as he blocks.

England are just 3 wickets away now! Ishant Sharma walks out!

94.2

OUT! SOUND OF TIMBER! Shami is done for this Test match. Big turn for the off spinner. Moeen gives it a good toss and lands it on a fuller length outside off, it probably lands on one of the footmarks and breaks back in sharply. Shami tries to push it through the line by getting forward but it spins back in to beat his bat and shatters the stumps. England inching closer. Can they pick the remaining wickets before Lunch?

94.1

Tossed up ball landing full on middle, Jadeja knocks it down to long on for one. India trail by exactly 100 runs.

Change. Time for some spin as Moeen Ali is handed the ball!

93.6

Drifting down the leg side, Shami tries to nudge it fine but fails to connect. 253/6

93.5

FOUR! Even better shot, in front of square leg this time. Robinson is straight in line, on a length, Shami flicks it with nice timing and sends it to the fence.

93.4

Fuller and on middle, this time Shami uses the angle and flicks it through square leg for a couple of runs.

93.3

The batsman has just watchfully blocked this out.

93.2

NOT OUT! Missing the leg stump. Identical to the last delivery, on a full length around middle and angling down, Shami again fails to flick and wears it on his pads. The appeal is made and this time the finger has gone up. Shami takes the referral. Nothing on the UltraEdge but the Ball Tracker confirms that it's missing the sticks.

Review time! Mohammed Shami has been given out for LBW and he takes the review. Clear daylight between bat and ball, confirms the UltraEdge. Shami survives as Ball Tracker shows that the ball was missing the wickets.

93.1

Again a shout for an lbw against Shami! Not given and England also decide not to review. Robinson angles in a length ball, around middle and leg, further going down, Shami tries to flick but misses. They put in an unsuccessful appeal. Missing leg, probably.

92.6

Another length ball way outside off, Ravindra shoulders arms on this occasion. 247/6

92.5

Fuller again, outside off, Jadeja leaves it untouched.

92.4

EDGED AND FOUR! A bit streaky and this could have been the end of Jadeja too. On a length, angling away from around off, Ravindra Jadeja looks to drive but only manages an outside edge, which goes aerially past Moeen Ali at point, and runs away to the ropes. Moeen probably had all his weight on the left leg and hence didn't get enough time to react with a dive.

92.3

Fuller, way outside off, RJ shows no interest in playing at that.

92.2

FOUR! Good shot down the ground. Not a lot to be happy about for India, but this shot will lift the mood ever-so-slightly. On a length, around the off pole, Ravindra Jadeja just pushes this gently through mid off.

92.1

Around off, on a length, kept out by Jadeja.

91.6

Huge shout for an lbw, not given. A big inswinger from Robinson, landing on a good length and jagging back in sharply. Shami shuffles across a bit in defense but misses. He is rapped on the pads, they appeal but the finger stays down. Maybe, too high. End of a superb over by Robinson. 239/6

England are well into the tail-enders now. Don't know if we can call Mohammed Shami a tail-ender due to his knock in the last game. But, in any case, Shami walks out now. India behind by 115 runs.

91.5

OUT! CAUGHT AT SLIPS! Pant gets out defending. Hmm... Maybe, that's why he was swinging his bat. Ollie Robinson has shown great discipline this morning. His lines have been exemplary and he has altered his lengths superbly as well. This one is served in the channel outside off and the natural angle of the bowler takes it away from the left-hander. Pant could have left it alone but he wants to feel the ball. Goes after it with a defensive bat and edges it to third slip. Craig Overton has safe hands and England are four wickets away now from making it 1-1 in the series.

91.4

Fuller, closer to off, Pant is standing outside the crease to smother the movement and defends it down.

91.3

Around leg, on a length, Pant fails to work it around and is hit high on the pads.

91.2

On a length, around middle, this time Pant stays compact in his defense and blocks it down on the surface.

91.1

Swing and a miss! Pant will bat on his terms, regardless of the situation, he wants to attack the bowlers. Robinson angles across a shortish delivery, outside off, Pant jumps down the track, tries to slap it through the line but misses. Maybe, Rishabh Pant doesn't trust his defense enough to survive this moment.

India in some trouble now. Half their side back in the shed. Now, Ravindra Jadeja trudges out into the middle.

90.6

OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Third wicket goes down for India this morning and England are celebrating big. Needless from Rahane. Anderson delivers it on a length and just outside off, it lands and moves away slightly, Rahane should have looked to defend it close to his body but needless hangs his bat out in defense. The ball moves away, takes a thick outside edge and goes to the keeper. As soon as Jos Buttler catches it, Joe Root jumps in delight. The crowd is loving it. India have now lost 5 wickets and staring down the barrel. 239/5

90.5

Fuller and on off, angling in, Rahane flicks it off his pads but finds mid-wicket.

90.4

Around off on a length, the batsman has just watchfully blocked this out.

90.3

Fuller this time, around middle and leg, Pant walks forward and flicks as his bat turns in his hands. The ball rolls in the gap at mid-wicket and they cross. Rishabh Pant is off the mark.

90.2

Anderson delivers it on a good length, around middle, Pant is on the charge as he tries to defend. Misses the ball and is hit near the box. Is this smart batting or reckless?

90.1

On a length, close to off, Rahane stays back and taps it down to covers for a run.

Rishabh Pant walks in next.

89.6

OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! There it is! You are never settled as a batter in England and even though Kohli just got to his fifty in this over, he has to depart. Joe Root takes the catch and it is quite poetic how the English skipper plays a part in removing the Indian captain. Root seems pretty happy with his work. Back of a length, just around the off pole, the ball lands and holds its line slightly as Virat Kohli looks to block this one out with an angled bat. The ball catches the outside edge and goes to the left of Joe Root at first slip, who moves that side and makes no mistake. Two quick wickets and India are on the back foot now. Both the overnight batters have been sent packing and England are smelling blood. India are still behind by 117 runs! 237/4

89.5

FOUR! Save your legs, that was going to race away to the boundary. Overpitched slightly, around off, Kohli shows the full face of the bat and beats the diving mid on fielder (James Anderson) to his left, with a punch and gets his second boundary of the over.

89.4

Good length again, fourth stump channel, Virat Kohli presses forward and hangs his bat in defense, but the ball shapes away late and beats the outside edge.

89.3

Good-length ball, on off, tapped to point this time.

89.2

Virat Kohli has just watchfully blocked this out.

89.1

FOUR! Fifty for Virat Kohli! His first 50 of the series and he will be looking to turn this into a big one. Fuller-length ball, around off, Virat Kohli goes back and whips this through mid-wicket for a boundary.

88.6

Length, outside off, shaping inwards, Rahane lets this pass by him, to Buttler. 229/3

88.5

Around off, fuller this time, Rahane prods ahead and pushes to covers.

88.4

On a length, outside off, Rahane looks to defend but gets beaten on this occasion.

88.3

Outside off, no shot offered.

88.2

Ajinkya Rahane has just watchfully blocked this out.

88.1

Short of a length, on off, tapped to covers for one.

87.6

Angled around off and middle, this is knocked to the mid on region. 228/3

87.5

Around off, tapped to the off side.

87.4

FOUR! Wow! Well played by Rahane. A half-volley, around off this time, Ajinkya Rahane gets low and drives this one wonderfully through the cover-point region for a boundary.

87.3

Outside off, left alone by Rahane.

87.2

That is defended solidly off the front foot.

87.1

The batsman has just watchfully blocked this out.

Edged and gone! Anderson seems to have found the outside edge. The finger has gone up. England are celebrating. Virat Kohli has a word with his partner and takes the DRS. The UltraEdge shows there is daylight between bat and ball, the spike is for the bat clipping the pads. The decision is reversed. DRS at its best.

86.6

NOT OUT! A brilliant decision to take the review and the on-field decision has been overturned. England were over the moon but they have to be brought back here. The sound was off Virat's bat hitting his pad, not off the ball coming off the edge. On a length this time, in the zone of uncertainty outside off, Virat Kohli looks to push at this but the ball whistles through to Buttler, who takes it and appeals. The umpire raises his finger and the roof has been raised at Leeds. Virat Kohli turns around and looks to walk back, but he turns as Ajinkya Rahane from the other end persuades him to take the review. Virat is unsure if he edged that. The replays roll in and it turned out really well for India, as UltraEdge shows that Kohli hit his bat to his pad and there was no edge. Kohli survives. 224/3

86.5

In the fourth stump channel, length, Virat Kohli shoulders arms this time.

86.4

Around off, pushed to covers this time.

86.3

SHOUT FOR AN LBW! Back of a length, around off, Virat Kohli looks to defend, but the ball shoots up and hits Kohli high on the thigh pad. An appeal but turned down. Jimmy does not want the review. Root is looking around, hoping that someone will persuade him to take the review, but it does not happen. A good decision as the replays show that the ball was missing the wickets.

86.2

BEATEN! Wonderful delivery from Jimmy. This was a similar delivery to Virat's first-innings dismissal. Fuller in length, around off, the ball shapes away late as Virat Kohli looks to play straight, but he fails to get bat on ball this time.

86.1

Closer to off, length this time, Virat just dabs this one towards point.

85.6

Around off, on a length, Ajinkya defends this one out solidly. 224/3

85.5

Outside off, it lands and shapes away, AR makes no movement to play at this as he leaves.

85.4

FOUR! Confident shot from Rahane and this is the first boundary of the morning. Overpitched delivery, closer to off, Ajinkya Rahane pushes this one gently through the mid off region for a boundary.

85.3

Lands it on a length, in the fourth stump channel, the ball jags back in quickly, as Ajinkya Rahane taps this one to the off side.

85.2

First runs for Virat Kohli this morning! On a length, angling in, around off, Kohli drops this to the cover region and crosses ends.

85.1

On a fullish length, outside off, shapes away as the Indian captain makes a leave.

84.6

Anderson targets the stumps with an inswinger, landing on a length around off, Rahane meets it with a dead bat as he blocks it from the crease. 219/3

84.5

Lands it on a length and just outside off, a good leave by Rahane.

84.4

Inward movement on this delivery, it starts from a length around middle, Virat fails to work it around and is hit on the pads. They cross for a leg bye.

84.3

Beaten all ends up! Anderson dishes it out around off, on a fuller length and gets it to move away, Kohli commits himself on the front foot, tries to push inside the line and is beaten.

84.2

Rahane gets off the mark. On a good length around off, Rahane pushes it defensively to the off side, finds the gap at covers and crosses for a run.

84.1

It's on a length and around off, Rahane defends it from the back foot to the off side.

83.6

Around off on a good length, Kohli defends it from the back foot to the off side. 217/3

83.6

Fullish and just outside off, Kohli allows it through to the keeper. Called a no ball for overstepping.

83.5

On middle and leg, shaping down, Rahane tries to flick but it takes his pads and deflects down to fine leg for a leg bye. There's the first run for India this morning.

83.4

Good first ball to Ajinkya. On a length and close to off, Rahane defends it from the inside half of his bat to the leg side.

Ajinkya Rahane makes his way out into the middle.

83.3

OUT! PUJARA IS GONE! Robinson has hit the jackpot. He comes up with a full delivery around off, shaping back in, Pujara offers no shot and takes it on his back pad. They appeal but the umpire stays still. Root has a word with his bowler and the keeper. This time he goes for the referral in time. Remember, the impact won't be an issue here as the batter was not offering any shot. The Ball Tracker rolls in and it shows three reds. Huge roar from the English players, they have got an early success this morning and it's the big wicket of Pujara. Surely, there was an error in judgement from Cheteshwar Pujara, he was undone first by the fuller length and then by the extravagant inward movement. To worsen the situation, he was hit on the back pad. Had that been on the front pad, it could have headed over the stumps. Once again he misses out on scoring a century.

Review time! Joe Root opts for a review, for this LBW appeal against Cheteshwar Pujara! Since there is no shot offered, there is no need for UltraEdge. Time for the Ball Tracker, replays roll in and it is THREE REDS. Pujara goes back without getting his ton and England have struck early.

83.2

On a good length around off, Pujara defends it from the back foot back towards the bowler. Unlike Anderson, Ollie is making the batsman play more.

83.1

Angling in from around off, Pujara has his defensive bat down as he keeps it out safely to mid-wicket.

82.6

On a length and close to off, it straightens from there, Kohli has to play at that and he taps it down to point. Third maiden of the morning. 215/2

82.5

Identical to the last delivery, Anderson is playing on Kohli's patience here. Virat is in no mood to commit himself to any kind of a shot.

82.4

Angles it in around off and takes it away with the seam movement, Virat lifts his bat and allows it through to the keeper.

82.3

Anderson remains disciplined in his approach, bowling it in the channel outside off, an outswinger, Kohli also stays disciplined as he leaves.

82.2

Anderson gets close to the off stump line this time, Kohli does well to cover his stumps as he allows it through.

82.1

Anderson bowls it on a good length and in the corridor outside off, Kohli shoulders arms.

81.6

Ollie Robinson returns to bowl in the channel outside off, shaping away off the seam, Pujara is forward to cover the line as he makes a leave. A couple of maidens to begin the day's play. 215/2

81.5

Slips a full ball down the leg side, Pujara tries to flick but misses.

81.4

Oohhh...that wasn't too far away from the off pole. Robinson lands it on a good length and close to off, this one just holds its line and Pujara allows it through. Brave leave in the end.

81.3

Fuller again, a bit close to off but not close enough to bother the batsman. It lands and moves away, Cheteshwar Pujara just sees it through to the keeper.

81.2

Fuller in length and outside off, there is a hint of away movement, Pujara watches the line closely and then makes a leave.

81.1

Robinson delivers it very full and around off, Pujara pushes it out from the bottom half of his bat to covers. He is on 91 and would love to get a hundred and end his lean patch.

80.6

Anderson makes Kohli play. Serves it on middle and off, Kohli plays late and drops it with gentle hands in front of the cordon. Looks for a run but a loud shout of no comes from Pujara. Day 4 begins with a maiden over. 215/2

Ollie Robinson to share the new cherry from the other end!

80.5

Another good delivery and another good leave from the Indian captain. On and around off, moving away off the seam, Kohli is very patient at the moment.

80.4

Jimmy keeps probing around off. Close to off and shapes away after landing on a length, Kohli covers his stumps and allows it through.

80.3

Anderson is sticking to the line outside off, a gentle away movement on this occasion, Kohli continues to leave it.

80.2

In the channel outside off, on a length again, not much movement on this occasion, Virat has nothing to do with it as he leaves it alone.

80.1

Anderson is right on the button! Starts with serving it on a length close to off, shaping away, Kohli shoulders arms.

Right then. Time to start the action on Day 4. It is an absolute beauty of a setting for a Test match. A sunny morning, finally. All the Indian fans will be happy to see the ground baked in sunshine and light. Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara make their way out firstly and will look to continue their good work from Day 3. The English players follow them out and spread out to their respective positions. As expected, England have opted to take the second new ball and it is James Anderson who will be making use of it, first-up. Here he is, running in...

PITCH - Dominic Cork starts by sharing that it's 18 degrees at the moment. Tells that this pitch has been good, there was some swing and seam on the first day, but it is a very good pitch for batting. Mentions that the groundsmen have made sure that the pitch stays together. Talks about the rough patches visible on the surface but overall, Cork believes it's a belter for batting.

WEATHER - It is not every day that you see this sort of weather in England. It is BRIGHT and SUNNY at the moment and the ground is baked in sunshine. Anderson might not be loving looking at the sky right now, because he does not have his favoured cloudy conditions, which would have helped his cause. The Indians would be hoping for this weather to hang around till the end of the day.

The assignments for both teams are pretty clear heading into the penultimate day of this Test. It looked like the game was done and dusted when England had a humongous lead to their name, but India, to their credit, have batted way better than they did on Day 1 and the onus now lies on Pujara and skipper, Kohli. They have cut the lead down to just 139 runs and will want to quickly cut into the deficit. But, they have a problem on their hands - the second new ball. If Anderson and Robinson use the new cherry and wreak havoc on the Indians, then this game could be wrapped up today itself. But, if India can navigate the first hour of play, then they can score runs freely. The first session will really be an important one, as it shall give us an idea as to which team is on top.

Hello, folks! A warm welcome to day number 4 in the third Test between England and India. After having the first 2 days belong to England, the visitors finally made their presence felt on Day 3 as they batted well and hard. They took a while to see off the opening spell from Anderson and Robinson, but after that Pujara and Kohli batted splendidly and ensured that they cut down the deficit to as much as possible and will be looking to continue their good work. It should be another interesting day of cricket.

... Day 4, Session 1 ...

Right then. India have done well on Day 3 and would look to continue the same heading into the penultimate day of the Test. England, meanwhile, will look to use the second new ball well and make some inroads, before India cut into their lead. If England does well with the second new ball, then the game can end on Day 4 itself. But if India can see off the new ball, then runs would flow as they flowed on Day 2 when England batted. So, it is fair to say that the first session could decide the fate of this game. The action on Day 4 will begin at 11 am local (10 am GMT), but, the buildup will begin earlier. Do join us then. Cheers and take care!

Not the sort of day England would have wanted after having 2 days filled with goodness and success. They would have envisioned that they bowl as they did on Day 1 and run through the Indian batters but that never happened. In the first spell, India were slightly lucky as they played and missed quite a few of balls and the English pacers really made life tough for India, but after that, they could not continue with the same momentum. Ollie Robinson and Craig Overton got a wicket each and were good too. James Anderson did not have a wicket to his name, but he probed well with his line and length. Sam Curran again was slightly wayward and did not find his rhythm. Overall, not the best outing for the Brits.

India's middle order has been pretty fragile and the form of Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli has been on everyone's mind, but these two showed everyone why they are the stalwarts in the Indian team, as they raised an unbeaten stand of 99 runs, before the light did not allow them to continue. Pujara, especially, has been under the scanner but he is into the 90s and will be looking to come out on Day 4 and reach his ton. In his company, Kohli is on 45 and will be looking to march on and cut the deficit down quickly enough.

India started Day 3 perfectly, not taking long to remove the last 2 wickets early on Day 3 and then seeing off the ferocious new-ball spells from Anderson and Robinson. Rahul lost his wicket and India looked to be slipping, but the duo of Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara batted through the entire post-Lunch session and also raised an 82-run stand, before Sharma's knock was ended by Ollie Robinson.

Another great day of cricket between these two. After 2 days where the hosts have enjoyed most of the success, it is India who have finally had their say in this game and they will be pleased with their work on Day 3. The last two sessions on Day 3 have seen India bat well and also stack up the runs at a good pace, as they end the day, behind by 139 runs.

England want to take the second new ball. But the light is not good enough for the pacers to bowl. So, the umpires have decided to call for Stumps on Day 3.

52.6

51.4

An appeal for LBW but turned down! Back of a length, outside off, angling in, Virat Kohli shoulders arms and the ball jags back in. It kisses his thigh pad and goes to Buttler. The Indian skipper, Virat Kohli, strides out into the middle. A lot of responsibility on his shoulders. Will he deliver?

47.4

OUT! LBW! Umpire's call sends Rohit Sharma back! He is very disappointed. Ollie Robinson strikes just after Tea and this is exactly what England wanted. It has come against the run of play as well, as Rohit was looking very settled out in the middle. Ollie Robinson fires a full ball, angling in, on middle. Sharma looks to whip it away but the ball comes back in just a touch and hits him on the pads. England put in a big appeal and the umpire raises the finger. Sharma reviews this. There is no bat on that one but Ball Tracker has umpire's call on wickets hitting the outer half of the leg pole! This is just what England needed to start this session. A really, really good knock by Sharma ends. He would have wanted to carry on to score a big one. He whacks the ground in anger and walks back to the hut.

Review time! Rohit Sharma has been adjudged out for LBW and he opts to challenge this decision, with a review. UltraEdge shows a flatline. Ball Tracker rolls in and is it UMPIRE'S CALL on wickets. The on-field decision stays on and Rohit has to take the long walk back to the shed now.

We are ready for the final session on Day 3. Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara walk out on the field. The English fielders spread out on the field. Craig Overton to start the session.

... Day 3, Session 3 ...

England were quite good with the ball. Anderson, Overton and Robinson bowled in the right channels and went past the outside edge on numerous occasions. Curran struggled to find his rhythm and would want to change that. The key for England is to stay patient as a couple of quick wickets will help them push further for a victory. Do join us at 4 pm Local (3 pm GMT) for the last session on Day 3.

The session was all about Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara. Both the batters have put their heads down and have indulged in some good old-fashioned Test-match batting. They have blocked the balls which deserved to be blocked, punished the balls that deserved the treatment and left the ones which were too wide. Rohit Sharma has looked very solid so far and Pujara has surprisingly scored runs at a brisk pace. India would hope that these two can cut down the deficit even further.

A wonderful, wonderful session for India. Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara have batted and batted to take them to 112. The deficit is now 242 and they would be quite happy going in the hut. England were pretty good with the ball too, but could not take a single wicket.

45.6

Well negotiated by Sharma! On a length, around off and middle, Rohit blocks it nicely. THAT WILL BE TEA ON DAY 3! 112/1

45.5

... Day 3, Session 2 ...

Right then. We have a massive session coming up. The English pacers are breathing fire and the Indian middle order has not been in the best of form. The next session could very well decide which way this game goes. Do join us at 1:40 pm local (12:40 pm GMT) for the second session!

India started quite well on Day 3 and picked up two wickets early. But what followed was a wonderful display of fast bowling by England. James Anderson, Ollie Robinson, Craig Overton and Sam Curran bowled the right channels and got plenty of help from the overcast conditions and the pitch. The English pacers troubled both Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul and went past the edge on many occasions. It looked like India would go back for Lunch without losing a wicket but the wicket of KL Rahul on the last ball of the session will make them a bit more nervous in the break.

What a session of Test cricket! The wicket of Rahul just before Lunch has provided England with a really good start in this innings. Rohit Sharma has looked quite solid and would need to continue if India are to get back in the game.

18.6

OUT! EDGED AND CAUGHT! What a catch this is by Bairstow. Wonderful delivery too from Overton and just at the stroke of Lunch, KL Rahul's innings has been cut short.
